This novel includes a bit of everything-it is a timeless piece of literature!  Not only does it hook the reader, but it keeps the reader involved throughout the entire book.  If you are looking for romance, drama, adventure, and history...this is a novel you must read!

Gone with the Wind has been one of my most favorite books.  The movie does not do this book any justice.   A romantic at heart, I appreciate the subtleties of the struggle for love unattained and love unreturned, both of which give this story a personal touch. If you are curious to see why this novel is the 2nd best selling book in the world next to the Bible, pick it up and expect a long, complex story with unforgettable characters, a glimpse of a fleeting culture, and prose that tastes like an expensive red wine.
