Gone Baby Gone —
First of all I am from the Boston area and most of the actors who are not from Boston did an excellent job with the accent. I find it annoying when actors do the Boston accent and it's waaaaay off. There were many times in the movie where I couldn't even guess what was going to happen next. I found myself empathizing with the characters at one point and then totally changing my mind later on. Personally I didn't like the ending but I'm sure if you polled everyone who saw the movie you would get many mixed reviews. I see that some people were bothered by the language but to me it was realistic. I think everyone should see this film to form their own opinion but also to enjoy the acting and directing. I'll be surprised if it is not nominated for an Oscar.Last edited on Feb 20, 2008
