I am always on the look out for good deals on golf tee times in the Chicagoland area. GolfNow.com seems to be taking the lead in this online market. I can often find tee times with a 50% price discount! With near real-time inventory, it is easy to narrow down available tee times by geographic region, time/date, price, and number of players. Unlike some other sites, I can actually book a tee time as a single player. Yes, man with no wife or kids = unlimited golf.

Although the site is the best of its kind, it is not without flaws. I would like to see more golf courses on the site. I realize some of this is out of their control, but with well over 250 courses in Chicagoland, I only find about 45 courses on GolfNow.com. Like many new sites, it can have a few bugs throughout the booking process. Many times the selected tee time is suddenly unavailable on the final confirmation page. Some page refreshes are often required to get the selected tee time back in the list of availability.

Overall though, this is a solid site with a clean look and feel, an easy to use interface, and ultimately, great prices for good golf courses.

sorry...I don't buy it. I used golfnow today for my foursome. didn't save any money and were asked to wait for 15 groups to go before us at the turn because this course always puts golfnow customers at the back of the line! Clearly a subpar service!

BEWARE OF GOLFNOW.COM !!!
I too thought Golfnow.com was a great deal UNTIL my last booking at Palm Beach National in Lake Worth, FL. I booked a tee time the previous day that I wanted to play with 4 players and was called by the golf pro about 30 minutes to teeing off the morning of. He said that Golfnow did not have the authority to sell me that tee time. This was so inconvenient for me and my 3 other friends that drove in from out of town to play. PB National said that Golfnow.com had done this before. He has tried calling them but they continue to sell tee times that are already booked. If its a weekend or holiday, you run the risk of what happened to us and not get to play.

When I called the Customer Service Number for Golf Now.com , I took over 15 minutes to get a live person and explain. They were INCREDIBLY RUDE and did not offer to fix the problem let alone an apology. The great deal I got turned out to be a DISASTER. Golfers, BEWARE of GOLFNOW.com !!!!
