Goldwell Shampoo and Condition is awful for dry hair.

1

I was recommended to try this by a hairstylist; she said I really needed it to help get moisture into my dry hair. All this product did was further dry my hair and make it almost untameable. My hair is mostly straight (a little wavy) with very little frizz problems, but with this shampoo and conditioner after coming out of the shower, my hair felt like a matted dog! Do not buy this, it's a waste of money. There are plenty of other products out there that help with color stay. This is the worst shampoo/conditioner I have ever tried.

Goldwell products are salon quality, but not top of the line.

The Goldwell line of hair products are a salon quality line, yet not top of the line quality.  It is fairly priced, and i definatly would not pay more for it then what they are asking.  It is the brand chosen to be used at the Empire Beauty Schools, which is disappointing to me, simply because i feel that it is not the best choice.  To use goldwell in a school, does not do justice to teach students what good quality hair products are.  The color line does not have a great variety of colors.  However, when it comes to styling products such as hairspray, and such, i prefer to use Goldwell.  I love the effect the hairspray has.  It is a perfect hold without weighing the hair down and making it hard and crunchy, nor does it make the hair appear to be wet.  The Shampoo is not the most moisturizing shampoo i have used, but the conditioner is decent.  All in all, Goldwell is an acceptable choice of hair products, but definatly not the best choice.
