The Goldstar window unit air conditiner with remote control cools a room very well. This is a compact window unit. And it works very efficiently . The cool air even travels to other rooms. Of course this may vary depending on the size of the house. I love that I can turn this window unit on and off and turn the tempeature up or down by remote control. The Gold Star window unit is a nice little air onditioner.we have been using it for a number of years without any problems. If you do not have central air conditioningthe Goldstar window unit is definnatelythe next best thing.
