This is a great exercise bike, at a great price, I bought it at Walmart for $199. It has 8 setting for different types of work outs. I can make the resistance easier or harder up to 10 resistance settings, it also monitors my heart rate, calories, distance & time.
It has a place for me to plug in my MP3 player, there are speakers built into the monitor, a drink holder, a fan and the main reason I bought this bike, it has a nice big comfortable high back.
Even after having back surgery I still suffer with major back pain. So, I have to adjust my life around this pain. There are things I can do and things I can't. I knew I needed a bike with a high comfortable back, and this seat is very comfortable, high and really sturdy.
I was using the exercise bike similar to this one at my local gym, I liked it and had planed on using it all the time, but my gym got to busy and I would have to wait to use one of the bikes. Well I wasn't an exercise lover anyway so if I had to wait too long, I'll would come up with an excuse why, I couldn't exercise today. So I wanted to look into buying my own bike. I was looking for a few months and these types of bikes were extremely expensive.
When I came across this Golds Gym bike, at Walmart I was super excited. They have another Golds Gym Bike for $139, but it doesn't have all the options this one does. I think it had 4 different setting, no fan, no MP3 hook-up, and no heart monitor. So I chose the better one.
It's still cheaper then paying for a gym membership and I can exercise whenever I want to and it's really fun! I can set the tracks up where it lights up as I ride so it's like I see myself moving on the track, it's cool. Not to mention the fan helps keep me cool. I tell everybody about this bike, it's great!
