I always give my birds a pellet food such as Harrison's Adult Lifetime Fine. But, in order to give them some variety I'll also give them some type of natural blend.

One such nutritious mix is Goldenfeast Australian Blend. My birds just love the taste and think it is so yummy.

It has 40 ingredients, some of which are: sunflower kernals, oats, lettuce seed, niger seed, carrots, flax seed, cherry bits, black beans, orange peel, papaya, spinach, spirulina, vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin C, etc...

I buy mine online at www.birdsafestore.com. They are great to deal with and promptly answer email questions I have sent them. I also get their monthly e-newsletter in which they often offer discounts. They only sell natural bird foods too which is important to me.

Well, back to the Goldenfeast Australian Blend... my birds go coo coo over this blend.

Yeah, you got me. Scrappy loves watching the wildlife outside...keeps her entertained and not as bored in the winter. We have carrots and bunny food out there too. "Benny the bunny" comes by every morning and night and he knows Scrappy is watching him and doesn't mind. Benny also eats all the bird food too. Hmmmmm maybe Benny is a little pig in a bunny suit lol

Ahhhh... those would be some pretty spoiled birds;) I buy the Goldenfeast for my indoor 'pet' birds... Though Scrappy would be all for it in order to draw in some feathered friends for her enjoyment, right?

I must be buying crappy bird food...not one bird this winter, but the rabbits seem to be munching on it a bit. I will check this out!
