The Golden Tulip hotel is rather new in the heart of Amsterdam city and close to the Central Railway station. The room was comfortable, but rather compact.There was a small desk with free internet access.The bathroom has a bath and shower. The breakfast area is on the 2nd floor and there is a meeting place with bar and fireplace on the first floor. There is public car parking right at the hotel. There are many dining opportunities close to the hotel. Fot tourists this is a good location. A tram station stops in an adjacent street.

Shopping: Short Walk, There are many eating places right in the area....

The Golden Tulip is a nice hotel, very comfortable in the center of Amsterdam. You can walk just about everywhere from this location, dining, shopping, museums, etc. There is free WIFI internet available in the room which is rare in Europe, where hotels usually charge ridiculous fees to access your e-mail. Although the room was small, it was tastefully furnished and the bed was comfortable. I would stay there again when in Amsterdam.

Dining: Short Walk, All you need to do is walk outside the hotel and all kinds of activities are available.
