Pros

    Lively, Playful, Spirit, People-Pleasing, Friendly, Gorgeous, Lovely, Entertaining, Great Companion Dogs

Cons
    They shed, shed, shed, Breeders are making unhealthy Goldens, Goldens are prone to Hip Dysplasia

Golden Retriever Dog Breed — 

I must add my two cents to the rest of the reviewers.
I have 3 goldens, and in fact, my screen name is a combination of their 3 names.
I am a member of a deep south rescue group and 2 of mine are rescues.  I am a widow and my dogs keep me happy and entertained. I love all 3.
