My husband, daughter and I like different foods and Golden Corral fits the bill perfectly. Not all in this chain are exactly the same, but we rarely have been disappointed in the offerings.

My husband is a chicken fan and here he can have it fried, baked, broasted, shredded and even more ways than that.  The mashed potatoes taste home made and there are many choices of toppings--cheese, gravy, butter, and more.

My daughter likes mac and cheese, pizza, and more kid food--lots and lots of foods here to fit the fussy eater.

I'm the veggie freak in the family and I can have lima beans, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts and of course the more boring corn and green beans.  The swiss steak is tender enough to cut with a fork and the salad bar has tuna salad, fresh fruit, caesar and tossed salad and more.
There are always at least two soups--the selection changes but I recommend them all.

During Lent you can find at least two or three varieties of fish on the menu. Check out the daily special menus for Mexican, Italian, meat lovers and more.

Not done yet--the dessert bar features an ice cream machine for the kids, and lots of chocolate based goodies--cookies, pie, cake, brownies.  But if you're not a chocolate freak, you can get rice krispies squares, fruit pies, and other delights.

While this isn't gourmet--it's home cooking that doesn't have you doing the dishes and you can typically get fed for $6/person depending upon the time of day and coupons you've brought!
