Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Body Lotion —

No matter how much water I drink, or how many times per day I moisturize, my skin has always been painfully dry from October until April.  Living in New England is certainly a contributing factor, as is my tendency to wash my hands a lot.  I was using some flowery-smelling concoction from a bath specialty shop when my husband recommended Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Body Lotion.  As a letter carrier, he is outside in the elements year-round, so he has to be particular about keeping his skin hydrated.

Honestly, at first glance, I was unimpressed by this product.  The packaging certainly didn't seem like it housed anything remarkable.  The fragrance was nothing special either.  And when I applied the lotion to my hands, elbows and feet one night before bedtime, I didn't think it would make any dramatic difference in the dryness I'd been experiencing in those areas.  But when I woke up the next day, I could definitely see a marked improvement in my skin's texture.  The dry patches were softened and had been diminished considerably!

Gold Bond Ultimate Healing is now my must-have lotion for the tough New England winters.  Not for its smell or its pretty packaging, but just because it works!
