Sting free!

4

Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Moisturizer is a fabulous hand sanitizer because it doesn't sting your hands like many sanitizers, and it actually moisturizes and nourishes your hands rather than stripping them dry. It's the best of both worlds. It does the duties of a hand sanitizer - killing germs when you're on the go or do not have access to soap and water to wash your hands, but it also acts as a hand lotion so you're not drying out your skin and in need of a separate bottle of lotion afterward. This sanitizer also doesn't have that heavy alcohol smell that most other sanitizers have. It smells like Gold Bond lotion - which is a mostly light, neutral scent that fades rather quickly. It would be nice if they made this is an scented smell, but I don't mind how it smells too much. I do think the texture of this sanitizer is a little strange though. It takes some getting used to. It feels a bit heavy and greasy at first. Eventually, that fades away, but I'm still not totally sold on how it feels. Also, it's a bit expensive for a hand sanitizer. Overall, I think the pros outweigh the cons. I'll deal with the price and odd feeling because this product is so unique in that it actually keeps my hands feeling soft, moisturized, and healthy while also killing germs.

My favorite sanitizer

Usually, hand sanitizers do little more than dry out my already dry, painful hands. Even the brands that claim to have moisturizing properties do not usually delivery on their promise. However, the Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Moisturizer really does a wonderful job of helping to keep my skin clean and in much healthier condition than similar products on the market. It is the only hand sanitizer that I will use in the winter, when I need to prevent illness but cannot compromise on keeping my hands moisturized. Scent This has a much more pleasant scent than many of the more clinical-smelling hand sanitizers on the market. Absorption This hand sanitizer takes almost no time at all to absorb. Effectiveness As the mother of a toddler, I rely on hand sanitizer to help keep myself and my family healthy during the cold and flu season. This helps me to do that without having to deal with painful dry hands.

Love this lotion!

I want clean hands. I mean really, don't we all? It not like I don't wash my hands regularly or anything but I was also using hand sanitizer fairly regularly. I like knowing the germs in my hands have been wiped out but I hate how dry my hands feel after using the regular gel hand sanitizes. The alcohol in them makes my hands feel super dry and uncomfortable, especially in the winter months. I was shopping at Meijer when I came across this Gold Bond Ultimate Sanitizer Moisturizer. I was so excited to find this! It's the best of both worlds! You get sanitizer and moisturizer all in one bottle! I love that this will kill germs and not leave my hands all dry and tight feeling! I use this hand lotion all the time. After I wash my hands I'll use this lotion. I figure if I missed any germs when washing that this will take care of them! With kids in the house I think it's extra important to have germ free hands. I don't want them catching anything and having to miss any school! Scent The scent isn't really anything special but it's not unpleasant either.

Gold Bond Hand Moisturizer and Sanitizer Is GREAT!

Gold Bond Hand Sanitizer and Moisturizer in one is just absolutely the best idea ever! I wash my hands so much or use hand sanitizer, that my hands were really taking a toll. They were dry. Then, I saw Gold Bond Hand Sanitizer with Moisturizer and I had to give it a try! I am so impressed with Gold Bond Hand Sanitizer with Moisturizer that I had to share my opinion on it here. Gold Bond Hand Sanitizer with Moisturizer has really come up with a great idea. They already have a superb lotion that immediately ends dryness. Now combine that product with a sanitizer and you have the complete picture! Now,I don't have to worry when I can't wash my hands right away, and worry that if I use the regular hand sanitizers my hands will become so dried out. Now I can use Gold Bond Hand Sanitizer with Moisturizer to sanitize my hands until I can wash them properly. I would recommend Gold Bond Hand Sanitizer with Moisturizer to anyone that wants to sanitize their hands without drying them out.

I've never used a hand sanitizer like this before!

It's a hand sanitizer, no it's a lotion, no it's **Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Moisturizer**!  I had no idea what to expect when I first received a sample of this product in the mail.  I was wondering how a hand sanitizer (which is usually a gel) would be moisturizing.  Well, it's not a gel! **Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Moisturizer** is a moisturizing hand sanitizer that kills 99.99% of germs.  Unlike most hand sanitizers, this is alcohol-free, so it uses a different ingredient to kill germs.  No alcohol means no harsh fumes.  According to the packaging, this product contains "7 hydrating moisturizers. This product is available in a tube, or a push-down dispenser.  I like it and would recommend it to anyone that uses a hand sanitizer regularly. Scent They call the scent "fresh clean scent".  The scent was a little stronger than I would have liked, but it didn't bother me too much. Absorption I was really surprised by the texture of this product because it looks and feels like lotion.  It does have a slightly waxy feel to it, but it is very moisturizing. Effectiveness Regular hand sanitizers dry out your hands, and this one doesn't at all.

Is Gold Bond Ultimate a lotion or sanitizer?

4

I found a small travel size of the Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer at the store, and decided to try it. My family and I were going on a trip, and when you are away from home, I feel like I can never have too many hand/surface sanitizers/wipes in my purse. Often, the little travel bottles of sanitizer leak when I keep them in my purse, but this lotion is nicer because it doesn't -- it is more like a little bottle of hand lotion. I have tried some hand sanitizers that are trying to compete with Purell by creating a product that is a little different, but they end up feeling terribly sticky or have a horrible scent or dry up too quickly. But this product is scented nicely, feels like lotion on your hands, and lasts like any tube of lotion would. In fact, I often forget it is not simply a hand lotion primarily -- the sanitizing benefits are secondary. I now keep my bottle in my car, and have used to keep my hands soft AND clean.

Seems like a great alternative to other hand sanitizers!

I found a free sample of Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Moisturizer in the March 2010 issue of [Real Simple magazine][1] and tested it out for an article on the Viewpoints blog. The sample was small but enough to cover both my hands. I was pleasantly surprised with how this lotion worked and smelled. It was not harsh on my hands at all. In fact, it truly nourished them. I put this lotion on after a morning swim, so they were especially dry and cracking. My knuckles actually hurt a lot! This lotion soothed them, and it was an added bonus that I knew it was fighting germs at the same time. It did not smell like alcohol-based hand sanitizers easier, and it didn't sting the paper cut on my thumb! All in all I do recommend Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Moisturizer, however I am not entirely sold on the fact it kills 99.9% of bacteria so I do not know how often I would buy it. I am sure it does do what it claims to do and that research proves it, but there is something consoling to me personally as a consumer when I put on an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. It might make my hands dried out, but I can practically FEEL the germs singing and burning of my skin. That's comforting to me (even if it's not to my hands). I hate hand sanitizer, I hate constant handwashing, I hate colds and I hate dry hands. Boy am I glad I found Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Moisturizer. I had a coupon the first time and the price almost stopped me but I like the brand and I needed a solution to my problem. It's a great moisturizer. Does it kill germs? I don't know, but I've had fewer colds this year than ever and I work with kids in the library so you know the germs are there. Is it a good value? Well, I don't keep a bottle on my desk for everyone to use, but I believe in the stuff and I will never go through another cold season without it. I'd have to buy moisturizer anyway; not having colds? Priceless.

No More Dry Hands!

5

I love hand sanitizer but in the winter when my hands are already dry I can't afford to slather them in alcohol and dry them out even more. However, I want to keep the cold and flu germs away, especially when I teach and I am around tons of children! Gold bond answered my wish! I already used their ultimate lotion and love it, but when I saw the anti-bacterial lotion I had to try it, and I am so glad I did. I have told all my friends and other teachers about this stuff and how great it is. The smell is light and not overpowering, but the moisture is. It truly keeps your hands from getting chapped and I haven't gotten a cold yet this season while using it, so I am figuring the bacteria-free factor is there. I keep a bottle of this on my desk, by my front door. I only wish they made it in travel sizes for my purse, hopefully that is right around the corner! Until then I will simply use it whenever the bottle is nearby!

The Best way to clean your hands!

5

I have three small children all under the age of five, so we CONSTANTLY are working to keep our hands clean. Usually we use a few huge containers of alcohol-based hand sanitizer from Sam's Club around the house. These do a great job, except now that it is winter and we use them more to ward off sicknss, my hands have dried out terribly and have begun to crack. Enter Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Moisturizer. I found this Gold Bond Hand Sanitizing Moisturizer on clearance at my local drugstore. The price was low enough with a coupon that I decided to try it. I am so glad I did. Just one application revived my dry, cracked skin. Using it just once a day has really improved the look and feel of my hands. I was so pleased with it, I returned to the drugstore and bought the rest of their stock and then I also ordered a large bottle of it as well online. Bottom Line-This is an excellent product that does exactly what it claims.
