I purchased Gold Bond Medicated Powder for my husband to use. He is a bagpiper and to use a polite term, goes "regimental" under his kilt. One thing he learned real fast is there are certain areas of the body that, when left untethered, can develop a rash. Some of the other pipers told us about this product, so he tried it and it worked like a miracle. Believe me, he has a container in his bagpipe case, hat case, bathroom and the compartment of his car. Obviously he learned a very good lesson.
This product was a pleasant surprise. I'd heard about it for years, but tried it only recently and I will continue to use it. It contains eucalyptol - a natural ingredient for someone whose skin is a bit sensitive. It provides a cooling sensation that you just have to experience for yourself! Good old-fashioned Gold Bond Body Powder provides wonderful relief for those annoying itches!
I've used Goldbond Medicated Powder my whole life. I always had it on hand while I was raising my children. It cooled chafed skin and sunburn. Inexpensive, it's always a great buy.
This powder works great. I only wish it didn't smell the way it does. It smells like an old lady. Which is not good when I want to apply perfume. But if you can get past the smell, I would recommend this product.
I use Gold Bond Medicated alot expecially in the summer. I get rashes under my breast and this powder helps to relieve it. I have been using it for many years.
I spurged and purchased Gold Bond because my feet were incredibly sore and I had heard that this was a great product. Of course, I got my hopes up because I was spending more money than I ever intended. I tried Gold Bond for a few weeks and couldn't tell if it was doing anything if at all. It was a true disappointment for me. I didn't like the smell at all either. I don't know what I expected would happen if I did use this product. I have thick, dry skin on my feet and thought it should have atleast softened it a little but no dice. I felt cheated. I don't know if the drugstore...
