Gold Bond Medicated Powder works wonders! I have sensitive skin and frequently get heat rashes in the summertime. These rashes can be horrible and will oftentimes itch so badly that I am inclined to scratch! Scratching is not good, because it only aggravates skin which is already inflamed and adds to the problem. Gold Bond Medicated Powder feels rather "tingly" and "cool" when applied to your skin. It does a great job at relieving the itch from a rash and helps to promote healing. Although I have used it many times on heat rash, I don't know how well it would work on something like poison ivy. The only downfall to this product that I can think of ;it is messy when applied. But then, aren't all powders messy? I'll take the mess; IT WORKS!

Comments about Gold Bond Medicated Powder:

I use the powder instead of underarm deoderant most of the year. In summer I occasionally use a deoderant when it gets really hot. The powder works just fine; there is no body odor. I feel underarm deoderants block pores and could be unsafe. The Gold Bond does the trick and being a powder doesn't block skin pores. I also use it in my running shoes. Works great.

Doesn't work for everyone.

Comments about Gold Bond Medicated Powder:

I purchased this product in spray form because I heard wonderful things about how well it protected against dry and itchy skin - symptoms I experience often due to my eczema. I have used several other Gold Bond products and found them to be effective, but unfortunately, I can't say the same for this product.

Not only was this product very expensive, it did not do anything at all for me. In fact, when I put it on my irritated skin from eczema flare ups, it burned and irritated my skin even further, which surprised me because other Gold Bond products I've used have always been so gentle on my skin, even when experiencing an eczema flare up.

There are however, two good things I can say for this product - 1 - it smells nice. A lot nicer than I expected for a gold bond powder product, it's almost like a man's aftershave. 2 - The application process is wonderful. I love that it's in spray form so that you do not have to touch the product or your skin and make a mess or irritate my skin further. Unfortunately though, these were the only things I enjoyed about the product.

It is a Blessing in a bottle

By

Comments about Gold Bond Medicated Powder:

About 4 years ago I had surgery and got a fungal infection along the scar. The Dr prescribed a nasty (lots of side effects) fungal cream to help. Yes it helped, but it also reacted with other medication I take. I don't remember why I started using the Gold Bond powder on the area but it has worked fantastically with no side effects! Within 1 day it took a two inch rash and made it completely disappear. I have used it once a day ever since and haven't ever had to use the prescribed cream again! I have tried the Gold Bond spray but the powder works much better. It hasn't made the fungal infection stop (it isn't designed to do that) and the prescribed drug didn't stop it either. It does stop the pain and the rash from occuring. It isn't the cleanest thing to apply- it is a powder so it can be messy- but I have found an advantage to the messiness. The powder always falls on my feet and my toenails look great! In addition to all the other benefits I have found from this powder, it is about 1/10th the price of the drug I had been using and oh so much safer to use!

Gold Bond Medicated Powder: Good Name, Great Product

By

from USA

Comments about Gold Bond Medicated Powder:

I wear scrubs all day long and tend to get chafing on the inside of my legs. I trust the Gold Bond name because they have an array of products. So, I bought the powder thinking it just might help me. It kept the moisture away from my skin by absorbing it. I was grateful. Then, it also kept the friction of walking all day long to a minimum. I now use it everyday when I shower because it just plain feels good. It also helps absorb the moisture under my breasts where I sweat sometimes and yeast can easily grow. I even sprinkle it in my shoes. It keeps them feeling and smelling fresh. I really like the product and will continue to buy it. Very satisfying.

Love this all year around for everything

Comments about Gold Bond Medicated Powder:

I have used this for years from everything from stinky shoes to rashes. I love this stuff. I use it for my kids, I use it myself. I use it for our shoes, all year around. Summer time I use this for rashes, and stinky feet. And winter I use this for golded spots under my breasts, tummy and backside. I like to put it in my socks for bedtime so my feet don't sweat. This is a life saver, I also use the medicated lotion as well. this is a great product and works quicker than just baby powder.

Works suprisingly well

Comments about Gold Bond Medicated Powder:

A friend recommended this product to me and I bought it and promptly put it in a drawer.  I was complaining about itchy, dry skin and my friend said to use the Gold Bond I had bought.  I really didn't think powder would make itchy skin better, but it did.  Since then I have also bought the cream and lotion versions of Gold Bond and I like them all.   My favorite is probably the lotion.  But all of the Gold Bond products leave your skin kind of cool or tingly.  Good stuff.

Gold Bond Medicated Powder Gets Rid of the Itch!

By

from Fountain Hills, AZ

Comments about Gold Bond Medicated Powder:

Gold Bond Medicated body powder does work if you have very dry and itchy skin. I always have it in my medicine cabinet because you never know when the itches come. It is cool and smoothing to irritated skin. It is inexpensive and worth it to get rid of itching skin problems. Gold Bond also makes an extra strength variety that comes in a green bottle, it is also good at relieving skin irritations. I have also even used the Gold Bond lotion and it works very well. It comes in a handy 4 oz size and according to the label, it "Relieves Pain and Itch, soothes & protects skin and absorbs moisture. It is also good for sunburns, insect bites, scrapes, poison ivy, rashes and minor cuts. All in all, this little bottle of powder is worth the price.

Gold Bond = Magic Powder

By

from Branford, CT

Comments about Gold Bond Medicated Powder:

A few years back I had a problem with dry and itchy skin and a friend recommended Gold Bond to me. I had never heard about Gold Bond, aside for seeing some random commercials about it on television. I decided to give it a try and it actually works quite well. Not only is it effective at relieving itching, it also give you a nice and refreshing tingling feeling. Gold Bond is something you should bring with you when you travel, because you never know when you are going to need it. Whether it be itching, chafing, or unsightly rashes, Gold Bond will get the job done every time. Gold Bond is relatively inexpensive and is a great value, which is why I call it magic powder since it works wonders. It is a must have in every household, because it is amazing and can be used in multiple ways. That is why I Recommend Gold Bond without hesitation and if you don't have any, I suggest you go out and buy some now.

Helps keep me dry and itch free

By

from Washington, DC

Comments about Gold Bond Medicated Powder:

As a once upon a time construction inspector who was used to being in the hot sun for at least 8 plus hours a day in heavy work boots, I suffered from some pretty serious athletes foot. I have tried many things, but nothing seemed to work until I tried Gold Bond medicated powder. It helps to keep my feet dry and also helps with the intense itching that I continuously have when I where shoes for too long or even socks during hot weather climates. I recommend the travel size container for people who fly a lot, as well. It's the perfect size to throw in my carry on suitcase and I have never been given a heard time about bringing it with me in the airport. If you are looking for something that doesn't leave a strong smell after you put it on, this is also a plus of the Gold Bond Medicated Powder product. It doesn't clump from moisture and doesn't leave a residue on your socks or shoes afterward either.
