Gold Bond Medicated Powder works wonders! I have sensitive skin and frequently get heat rashes in the summertime. These rashes can be horrible and will oftentimes itch so badly that I am inclined to scratch! Scratching is not good, because it only aggravates skin which is already inflamed and adds to the problem. Gold Bond Medicated Powder feels rather "tingly" and "cool" when applied to your skin. It does a great job at relieving the itch from a rash and helps to promote healing. Although I have used it many times on heat rash, I don't know how well it would work on something like poison ivy. The only downfall to this product that I can think of ;it is messy when applied. But then, aren't all powders messy? I'll take the mess; IT WORKS!
