Most HelpfulIt never hurts to have a back-up email account. So, I signed up for a FREE Gmail account. They didn't ask for a credit card number or any other nonsense. After the initial set-up, I wondered how it would do sending photos. (I email a lot of photos.) In two words...IT SUCKS! Gmail, from what...
review »I started using Gmail as a secondary email address after my primary one was just getting too buggy for me. Since it is made by Google, I figured it would be a high quality product and it is - for the most part.
Learning about Labels: After I started using Gmail, I learned a lot about using Labels as opposed to folders. I liked this philosophy so much that I do the same thing at work now! Instead of trying to sort mail out into folders, all mail essentially stays in your inbox and you just label it whatever you'd like. I have dozens and dozens of filters set up to auto-label my mail....
review »I made the switch to GMail after dealing with spam upon spam from my AOL account that I had had for over ten years. Having AOL was comfortable, and I was a little worried that as I made the switch I would lose some of my contacts and people would have a hard time sending mail to my GMail account. GMail couldn't have made the switch easier.
Not only does Gmail provide a great spam detector that weeds out the stuff you don't want to read - it detects items that you DO want to read and doesn't send them to your spam folder like a lot of other email providers (*ahem* AOL *ahem*) would do. I can't...
review »Gmail is just as good as my favorite search engine Google which could be because it is from Google.
Not only do they have the best search engine the Gmail is unbelievable I have been a part of it since it was in beta testing and cannot believe how wonderful it is. I still have my hotmail and yahoo accounts only because I have different email accounts for different things in my life, like one just for my school etc. I have not had time tor transfer everything yet.
Gmail lets you tag you emails rather than make folders, in addition it puts all emails on the same subject or person grouped together....
I've had multiple email accounts with different email services, but the one I've found that I'm the most satisfied with is Gmail. It's free, super easy to set up, easy to use, and organized very well. I love all the storage that is available because I never run out of room. I never have any problem opening anything or sending anything, yet Gmail also protects my privacy and always asks if I want to allow certain emails to send attachments or show pictures. I also love the chat in Gmail and how quick and easy it is to see if my other friends are online that have Gmail so I can chat with...
review »I like gmail a lot. I've used it ever since it first came out and they continue to make improvements. I love the fact it has themes now, so I can change the way it looks. They have really awesome ones to choose from. I also like that it's connected to everythign else GOOGLE. My blogger account, my Picasa account, my Adsense account... I love that it's all in one. It's easy to control everything under one account.
I didn't like that I couldn't have a signature with pictures but then I found a cool Firefox Ap that works with Google to make image signatures.
So it seems every problem I encounter...
review »Gmail is a bit confusing when you first begin using it but if you follow the online guides you will eventually get the hang of it. Once you do, you will be addicted. The email automatically groups together emails from the same email address, groups conversations or email having same subject matter. There is tons of storage space so you really never have to delete emails although I do. Your contacts will never get a message that your email box is full. There are many options to help you personalize the email and it is very easy to send and receive photos and attachments.
Gmail is great. I was on here and everyone was talking about this gmail so I decided to check it out. Now that is my first choice for email because of the labels I can use. You have so much space and it's great not having to delete anything. I haven't been using it that long, but am starting to develop a pretty good list of labels and maybe soon will start using some new features.
Gmail is absolutely the best around in free email!
The calendar feature is absolutely handy and helps to keep me organized and on-time! You can access it anywhere, from any computer so it makes it a breeze to check your mail and calendar when you're on the go! With unlimited storage features you never have to worry about running out of room! A++++ all around!
