Glidden Interior Eggshell Finish —

I have painted my entire home with big name paints by big name companies like Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams.  It has always been my assumption that these companies provide the best products and were worth the money.  These assumptions came from purchasing paints like Dutch Boy that required 3 coats to cover.  One time with a bad paint and increasing your work load and you find out quick it pays to have the best.

A couple months back my child left for college and I wanted to re-do their room.  We were at The Home Depot and I decided to try an old name in the paint business, Glidden.  I purchased 2 gallons in a light neutral color to cover the very bold Chicago Bears room of BLUE & ORANGE (not pastels).  I became a believer with the first coat was covering.  If you have ever tried to cover a dark color you know this is a difficult task for the best of paints.  I planned on painting at least 3 coats.  Yet I barely needed 2.

At $20 a gallon it is comparable in price to the big names. In quality it surpassed them.   just painted an entire duplex using Glidden Paints and I am never switching brands again.  Smooth, beautiful and easy just they way a decorating job should be.
