Glee Review

I don't tune into many new shows during the new season, but I was excited to watch Glee because it looked like a show with some great music and characters.  The pilot of Glee recently premiered on FOX and I absolutely loved it.  I love that it is a mix of drama, comedy and music and really inspirational and fun to watch.  The television show focuses on a high school Glee club and the ups and downs of being in high school.  I love that the show focuses on both the lives of the students, the teachers and the bringing together of the Glee Club group.  The Glee club is lead by a teacher whose personal life is crumbling, but he still has a passion for teaching and thus inspires not only the Glee club, but the other staff and the entire school.  The Glee club members are very diverse and include a snobbish leading lady who everyone hates, the head jock who has a secret passion to sing, an overweight backup singer who yearns to be a star, the class nerd who everyone picks on and a few other outsider characters.  In the Glee club, they learn to put their differences aside to create song and hopefully someday a good song.  I can't wait to see the drama unfold, and it is filled with some great musical numbers.
