GlaxoSmithKline Veramyst Nasal Spray —

I have tried a lot of different allergy medications and have yet to find that "perfect" drug that eliminates sneezing and congestion.  With that said, some work better than others and Veramyst is one of those that does a pretty good job. I like the fact that it provides fairly quick relief of nasal congestion and I found that I didn't seem to have the same level of allergy issues; such as sneezing and runny nose.

Veramyst is a steroid spray that is convenient and effective; however the nose bleeds were not worth the results.  It says to spray away from the septum to help aleviate the nose bleeds, but I found that it didn't make any difference for me.  I would have scabs in my nose daily, which would end up blocking up my nostril; therefore I still couldn't breathe!  It created an ulcerated place in side both nostrils that just wouldn't ever really heal.  It actually took a few weeks to fully heal, even after having stopped using the medicine.

Each person may have a different result with the nose bleeds, but I did see that their website, along with other review sites, lists this as a consistent problem.  If someone doesn't get that specific side effect, it can be a very good choice for allergies and congestion.

In a nutshell, Yes Veramyst works, but for me, the nose bleeds just didn't make it worth it!
