The Glade Wisp Flameless Candle made its way into my house via BzzAgent.com.  BzzAgent.com is a program where consumers try products in their home and then tell others about the product.  You get a free product and most of the time coupons for sharing with friends and family.

I’ve been using the Glade Wisp Flameless Candle for the past month in my home.  I set the unit up with the Clean Linen scent and it has been going full strength since then. My unit came with two scents, the Fresh Linen and a Vanilla scent.  This unit is very unique in the way that it runs on two AA batteries and delivers a puff of scent continuously.  There is no on and off switch but there is a control on the bottom of the unit that allows you to set it for light fragrance or adjust it to a higher setting for more fragrance.  There are five settings.

When you open the package containing your Glade Wisp Flameless Candle you will have to set the unit up. This is fairly simple to do.  Just squeeze the two buttons in on the sides and lift the top of the unit off.  You will see where the fragrance bottle goes that just screws in after removing the top to the fragrance.  Put the top back on, adjust the lever at the bottom of the unit to desired strength and your flameless candle is all set.  A bonus to buying this product is that it already contains the batteries.

You can purchase refills for your candle when the fragrance runs out.  They have a French Vanilla, Apple Cinnamon and Island Breeze, along with the Clean Linen.  They run about $2.97-3.97 each but coupons are available from Sunday newspaper supplements.

My Viewpoint

I have really enjoyed my Glade Wisp Flameless Candle.  I have mine in our den and it has really kept it smelling fresh!  The Clean Linen scent is light and it smells fresh.  It is a great choice of fragrance for any room in the house in my opinion.

There are so many ways to use this candle.  I use it for casual décor in my den.  They are also nice for a candlelit dinner.   Most of all I love the fact that they are safe.  There are no flames to worry about and no candle to blow out when you find a need to run to the store or go to another area of the house and forget you have a candle burning.  This is a great item for senior citizens and for families that have children.  It’s safe and no worry about having accidents.  It really doesn’t matter how old you are, accidents happen with candles.  I remember getting a phone call several years ago from my three daughters. They had managed to knock a burning candle over on my buffet.  The table runner caught on fire and they were in a panic.  One of them got a pitcher of water and doused it before it spread.  They were lucky and also banned from burning candles when at home alone.

I can’t wait to try some new scents.  My unit has been burning constantly for a month now.  I checked on the bottle of fragrance to see if it was almost out, but it still had around half of a bottle left.  I did have to replace the batteries after 3 weeks but I have my candle set at  the highest setting.

The Glade Wisp Flameless Candle retails for around $12.99.  I have seen them in Rite Aid for $9.99.  Team this up with a coupon and you have a great deal!  This is a delightful flameless candle that delivers a nice puff of fragrance.  I love it—it’s a great alternative to burning candles and it’s safe!

You can set the candle to high or low or in between for the amount of fragrance you want. I have one in my den with a lot of open area and it is not too strong at all. I just tried the French Vanilla Scent. I thought it may be too strong, but it is not at all. It's very natural!

I've been thinking of trying these, because regular candles give my husband a headache and my dogs the sneezes! Are they very strong scents? Overwhelming?

The more reviews I read the closer I get to trying these, I love my candles though so I am still holding back...lol ;)

I haven't tried the "wisps" yet, but you make them sound pretty good!

I'd like to try this. How often does it puff the fragrance?

Love the idea of a flameless candle. Once in the middle of a movie, I suddenly remembered I had left a candle burning. Luckily, by the time I got home it had gone out on its own with no damage, but it sure did shake me up. Great review!
