Glade seems to be on the forefront when it comes to giving us nice fragrances and products for keeping our homes smelling good.  One of the products I like to use in my home is the Glade Candle.  My favorite scent is the Apple Cinnamon because the scent filters through into the den and it smells like a fresh apple pie baking in the over.  Yum!

About Glade Candles

The Glade Candles come in a glass container with a thick wall which makes them nice and heavy.  You don't have to worry about them breaking if they are accidentally nudged against something else on a coffee table or shelf.  You also don't have to worry about the glass cracking from high temperatures when the candle is burning.  The purpose of the Glade Candle is to provide nice scents for your home.  Of course, candles have also been used to uplift the spirt or to create a romantic atmosphere for a romantic candlelite dinner.  You can really do a lot in the way of decorating with candles.  Scented candles just add to the fun!

Glade Candles come in a variety of scents.  Some of the single scents are Rainshower, Angel Whispers, Clean Linen, Apple Cinnamon, French Vanilla and Peaches & Petals.  They also have 2 in 1 fragrances such as Fresh Berries & Wild Raspberry or Creamy Custard & Blushing Apple.  Each candle retails for about $6.99-7.99 and can be found at most retail stores.

Tips for Longer Life

Glade recommends burning this candle for two to four hours at a time.  Also keeping the wick trimmed to 1/4" helps to keep your candle burning efficiently.

My Viewpoint

The Glade Candle that I have in Apple Cinnamon smells wonderful.  I use it in my dining room and we can pick up fragrance in the adjoining kitchen and den.  When I first opened the package the aroma was wonderful and I left the candle sitting without burning it for about a week.  You could still pick up the cinnamon scent whenever you walked into my dining room even though the candle hadn't been used yet.  I love subtle scents like this.

It didn't take long before I used my candle on the weekend when I was home and hanging around the house.  The scent was not real strong but that was fine, I prefer hints of scent rather than being blased with a strong scent.  This soft apple cinnamon scent smelled natural and was perfect for adding a "homey" feeling to my home.

My only concern is the cost for this candle.  At $7 a pop, it makes for an expensive candle.  Sure it will last for a month with minimal use or maybe longer but when it is gone--it's gone.  I think using a refillable frangrance product would be a better option if you are usiing this just to fragrance your home.  I'm going to give this one a middle of the road rating.  The scent is nice and candle lovers will enjoy it, however, it is a bit expensive for a small fragranced candle.

I'm waiting for a sale to use my coupons. Probably vanilla. Then we'll have it for our new place. Good review. Thanks.
