Glad Press 'n Seal Wrap Review Summary

Reviewers consider Glad Press 'n Seal Wrap "the best thing since Ziploc sandwich bags ... but better!" It's "worth its weight in gold" and "is to the kitchen what toilet paper is to the bathroom." While some brands stick to themselves, don't stick at all, or get stuck in the box, they don't stick at all to a plastic bowl. Yet, Press 'n Seal sticks to itself when you need it to and can be used on nearly anything. Users comment that since they used this Glad Wrap for the first time, they haven't ever kept another brand in their homes. Press 'n Seal always makes a nice seal on a bowl, and it forms right up against a sliced tomato of half an avocado, making it work much better than storing them in a Ziploc bag. Glad Press 'n Seal Wrap is "easy to unroll to just the right length and easy to tear off the roll." It's "a definite must in every kitchen."

To the Point

Cling wrap is to the kitchen like toilet paper is to the bathroom. I can't imagine not using it; however, the fact that the better brands stick to themselves; the cheaper brands don't stick or get caught up in the box; and neither really sticks to a plastic bowl has been a pain. In comes Glad (made by Clorox) Press 'n Seal Wrap which I used all weekend while visiting friend in New York.

A Closer View

Glad Press 'n Seal can be used on paper and wood as well as the plastic I mentioned above. We used paper plates a lot of the time and I had no problem with Glad Press 'n Seal. My pictures...

Glad Press 'N Seal Wrap rocks!  It makes ordinary cling wrap look pathetic.  I can use it alone or on top of any container, and it has this way of sealing in the freshness.  I can make all foods in a bowl, cup, dish or plate air-tight, which is great!  I always make sure to have plenty on hand because it's worth its weight in gold!

When I first saw an ad for the Press N Seal, I was skeptical.  I'm not a big fan of the cling wrap and thought this would be pretty much the same.  WRONG!  This stuff is great and works exactly like they say it does.  It sticks to most everything, and doesn't come undone.  It will even stick to itself, just like they say, and you can enclose small things using nothing else but the Press N Seal.

I have never really been impressed with plastic wrap. It never really seemed to work that well, it did not stick on things I was trying to cover, in fact it seemed to stick to itself and me more than what ever I was trying to cover.

I can't really tell you how long ago it was that I tried Glad Press N Seal.  It has been a while.  I can tell you that ever since I used this product for the first time I have fallen in love with it, and my household is never with out.

It is kind of like plastic wrap but it is so much better.  It really sticks on containers, or it wraps up food tightly.  If...

Glad Press 'n Seal Wrap has to be one of the most convenient, often-used items in my kitchen. It seals way better than any other plastic wrap I've ever tried, really sticks to the edges of bowls and cups to make a nice seal. I especially love how it forms right up against a sliced tomato, or half an avocado. Much better than trying to put those things in a baggie and trying to squeeze the air out before sealing. This stuff is fantastic.

Glad Press 'n Seal Wrap is easy to unroll to just the right length, and easy to tear off the roll. Sometimes it sticks to itself if you're not careful, but with...

I absolutely LOVE Glad Press 'n Seal Wrap!  I used to hate using suran wrap in the past because it would always stick to each other and would be really hard to get it to cover something and stay the way you wanted it to.  After I discovered this product, I can not use regular suran wrap anymore.  I have been telling everyone I know that still uses suran wrap that they have to switch over to this product.  With regular cheap suran wrap, I would end up wasting so much of it, because the plastic would end up sticking together.  I could sometimes get it to flatten out and be able to use it, but... read full review »

When i first heard about I was sceptical and thought "Just another cling wrap that wont really work". But wow, it really surprised me. I has a sticky inner side that really clings to plastic bowls, metal cookware, glass bakeware, countertops, even paper plates!

It keeps my food really fresh, seals it up so the odors don't spread all over the fridge and is really easy to use! My husband thinks it is so much fun to use that he even ignores all the lids we have for our plastic tupperware, he just gets the press and seal and the food is covered. It is well worth the money (around 2.60$ per package)!...

I love Glad Press 'n Seal.  It is so versatile and it seals much better than cling wrap.  I use it to cover left overs, make sandwich bags, everything I can think to use it on.  I don't have to worry about the contents spilling out, it's great on glass, plastic, ceramic, everything.
