We live in the boonies and there is no "trash day".  We drive to a recycling center 5 miles away.  I don't have time to go regularly and I drive and SUV - no trunk.  These things are a life saver!  I can just keep packing and packing without tearing the bag.  Then I can tie them off and throw them in the back knowing that trash is not spilling into my car.
