Glad ForceFlex Tall Kitchen Trash Bags —

First, I must admit that for "regular" garbage, I tend to use "regular" garbage bags -- good quality and usually a good brand (whatever is on sale) but not the sort of thing you could bag a broken grand piano in, like they do on the television commercials.  Every now and then, however, the time comes when I have to empty out my waist high kitchen containers in which I store recyclable materials.  On these occasions, inevitably, I end up with what Grandma Fiske used to call "A Lazy Man's Load".  I loved her but I well remember those occasions when she would watch me waddle by carrying so much stuff I could hardly see around it and warn me about the dangers of a "Lazy Man's Load" usually just as I dropped something or the bottom fell out of whatever I was trying to carry.

So it makes my heart glad that the people at Glad understand what it is like for a lazy person like me who tries to carry out all the recyclables for a whole month in one trip.  For occasions like that, Glad ForceFlex Tall Kitchen Trash Bags really step up to the plate and get the job done for me.  This is not to say that they are immune to the occasional puncture; it just means that because of them it's been a long time since my neighbors and I have endured the deafening crash of all those cans and bottles hitting the deck before I can get them to the dumpster.

I think these bags are a little more expensive than the regular ones and -- as someone who is into recycling and at least a little concerned about the environment -- I do feel an occasional compunction about how many centuries it will take for Glad ForceFlex Tall Kitchen Trash Bags to break down wherever they end up after I empty the stuff out and throw them away so I'll take off a star for that, but I will also keep using them, for Lazy Man's Loads!

I like to think of the Lazy Man's Load as "efficiency" (yes, guilty as charged). Of course, when you add one item too many to the pile, you end up losing the whole thing. LOL
