Givenchy Pi Review

Pi by Givenchy is a great men's fragrance.  The scent is warm, spicy, and exotic without the earthiness and heaviness that many of the spicier colognes have.  It's a happy medium between dark and spicy and clean and bright.  Just enough brightness that it doesn't have that patchouli and musk heaviness that overpowers the nose, but not so much brightness that is smells like cheap athletic inspired aftershaves.  It's perfect for day wear, but sensuous enough for a romantic evening out,too. 

The scent is very alluring.  When my husband first tried it, we were passing by a fragrance counter at a mall department store and he's a mathmatics lover, so I was laughing at the Pi on the bottle.  I sprayed a little bit of the tester on his wrist before even smelling it, just joking with him about something like how he could smell like math.  But the scent was so awesome that I couldn't resist rubbing up against him as we shopped.  By the time we could make it all the way around the mall, I was convinced that that we had to go back and buy a bottle.

The scent is appropriate for most all age ages of man.  It is light and modern enough for a young man, while classic enough for a more mature gentleman,too.  It's a cologne that won't remind your girlfriend of her dad, or remind your wife of your son. 

The only drawback to Pi is it's a high end fragrance, with a high end price tag.  While on par with other fancy designer fragrances, it's not cheap at around 40 dollars a bottle.  Also, it's not available at every corner drug store or discount chain.  You're not likely to be able to just grab a bottle of Pi at your local Wal-Mart or Target.  It's the kind of thing you're going to have to go to a fragrance counter like at Dillards or Macys or go online to buy.
