I love the smell of the various Givanni products especially the Tree Tea line but this one is also excellent in smell and results. I have very thin hair so volume shampoos and such are great for my hair. Being that my hair is fine, this product does exactly what I feel it should do...it makes my hair feel full. The only problem that I find with it is the very expensive price for such a small amount so, to combat that, if I am in TJMaxx, I look over the in the beauty department and typically find it there at a lesser price for a larger amount. Both the shampoo and conditioners can be found there. Past that, the product works very well. Effectiveness It gives my hair the lift and fullness that it sometimes needs being that it is thin and fine. Scent Giovanni makes their shampoos and conditioners in scents that I crave and truly look forward to using in a hot shower. I only wish it would last after the drying process... ?

I'm not what you'd call seriously into natural/organic products ... I use what works -- if it's better for the environment or my health, so much the better.  While I've tried various natural shampoos in the past, I really didn't like any of them (Burt's Bees Rosemary Mint shampoo BAR?  what a disaster).  Either they didn't lather at all, which I'll admit is psychologically important to me, they didn't clean my hair effectively, or they smelled weird (or all the above).  I had similar problems with organic conditioners. I tried this shampoo and conditioner (which I'd also give 5 stars) after reading positive reviews for it at an online beauty site.  It lives up to the reviews.  How it lathers so well without sulfates, I'll never know, but this is not only better for the environment, it's better for your hair.  It's paraben-free, which is nice, too. I have fine hair, and have found this volumizes pretty well -- perhaps not quite as well as some salon brands I've tried, but very close, and it's a heckuva lot cheaper.  I usually use volumizing gel or spray after I shampoo anyway. The conditioner volumizes without leaving my hair too dry, which is usually a problem I have with volumizing conditioners.  This one actually CONDITIONS but doesn't weigh my hair down at all. Both the shampoo and conditioner have a subtle but very pleasant scent, too. It's nice to be able to use a more natural/green product without compromising effectiveness.

i was pleasantly suprised.  I only use the all natural shampoos to avoid any unessacary chemicals.  but most of them are glorified castille soap. but this one is good it adds volume and it is gently. im so happy with this shampoo. it doent dry or leave an oily residue which can sometimes happen with the castille soaps.  If that wasnt good enough a little goes a long way,  the bottle looks small and you may not think it will last for very long.  but it lasts for a long time because it takes very little for each wash.  Im also happy because they dont test there product on animals. now a days you have to check for that because i have heard a lot of companies test their products on animals.  so go out and buy this or other giovanni products,  I know i will. cant wait to try the tea tree shampoo.

I recently picked up this shampoo becuase it was on sale.  i have been in the market for a new "eco-friendly" shampoo that does not leave my hair like an oil-slick. this shampoo works well at actually cleaning my hair without all the questionable ingredients.  It lathers surprisingly well (without the sulfates). it leaves my hair feeling smooth and tangle-free.  It smells delicious!!!  my hair is very fine and it looks amazing now. it is not weighed down.  it does not look greasy by the end of the day.  volumizing? i am not sure.  limp it is not. i do have to use a little bit more of this product than i do with conventional shampoos.  it is a small price to pay. my husband even uses this shampoo.  he is picky about his hair care products, but somehow seems to reach for this in the shower. I will definitely be picking up more of this product.  (we have also tried the tea tree shampoo and like it equally)

After trying several all natural shampoos and being less than pleased, I am happy to announce that I have finally found a great one - **Giovanni Root 66 Max Volume Shampoo**.  It's all natural, not tested on animals, paraben-free and smells great too!  **Giovanni Root 66 Max Volume Shampoo :** - Increases volume in limp, lifeless hair - Cleans and adds weightless bounce - Strengthens thin, fragile hair - Protects fine hair from damage while building body When you apply this product to your hair, it lathers very nicely compared to other natural shampoos I have used and it produces lots of bubbles!  I think it smells really good, kind of a cross between raspberries and fruit punch.  I didn't think volumizing shampoos actually did anything, but this one really does.  When I blow-dry my hair, I can see a noticeable improvement of volume at the roots.  I love that it is all natural *and *works good.   **The Scoop!** If you have been unsatisfied with natural shampoos in the past, I highly suggest you try this one.  It is the best all natural shampoo that I have ever used and I would definitely buy it again.
