As one reviewer said, this could be considered a tourist trap at the downtown location. I admit that I am one of the tourists who was told "don't leave Chicago without getting pizza from Giordano's." So I did, and I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant is not far at all from Michigan Avenue's main business district. We stopped by on a very busy day for carry-out, and I was worried that we would be stuck in line for a long time. The restaurant was full and the counter area was packed. So I was surprised to see how quickly we received our meal. The pizza was good, but much different from what I expected. My kids weren't crazy about the sauce on top, but I enjoyed it very much. It was my only visit there, but I'd be happy to return again.
