So, as a lover of all things horror, I thought that readers may want to hear about some overlooked gems, and Ginger Snaps is definitely one that many have not heard of. Featuring a truly unique take on the werewolf genre, Ginger Snaps features something that many horror films lack: interesting characters. The two sisters featured in the film are not your typical bimbettes found in most films of this ilk. They are smart, articulate and not victims. A smart script, some truly terrifying plot twists, and above average acting, Ginger Snaps is recommended and lovers of the genre (above the age of 16) will be glad they picked it up.
