A friend of mine received The Gilrmore Girls The Complete Series Dvds for a Christmas present this past year and was spending a lot of time engrossed in the series. She kept telling me how great this television show is and how I needed to watch it, as well.

She gave me season one and by the end of the weekend, I was ready for season two and completely addicted!

The Gilmore Girlsare Lorelai and Rory, mother and teenage daughter who are best friends. Lorelai and Rory have a special bond that most mothers would love to have! The Gilmore Girls live in a very small town, Stars Hollow, Connecticut and the series feature many of the town's eccentric townsfolk, which include Taylor - the towns grocer and busy body, Miss Patty - the local dance teacher and man aficionado, Kirk - Stars Hollow's jack of all trades and my favorite, Luke - the brooding Diner owner.

There are many more townspeople that round off The Gilmore Girls and make it such a special treat to watch.

I love all the references to books and movies and get so happy when I know what they are!

There are 7 seasons of The Gilmore Girls. Each episode leaves you craving for more and before you know it, you are on season 4 already!

This box set is available almost everywhere and each season can be bought individually or all together.
