Gilligan & O'Malley nursing tanks are all I wear!

I absolutely love these nursing tanks.  I didn't use nursing bras or tanks with my first baby because I was at home and didn't go out much, so there wasn't much need to be discreet while by myself.  This time around, I had twins who were in the NICU for 20 days and I had to go there to hold and breastfeed and while they put up small screens, it wasn't always the most private of situations.  These tanks made me feel so great.  I could undo one side with one hand while holding the baby in the other, I could still keep mostly covered and not feel totally exposed to the world.  They have ones that have a little bit of lace on the top, making them almost sexy, and then they also have the plain ones.  I have several in gray, white, black and one lacy one in purple.  I wish they made them in more colors.  They also run small, so I had to get 1 to 2 sizes bigger than I normally wear, but luckily I found that out right away so I could stock up on more in the right size.  They're also affordable!

Best tank for nursing moms!

The Gilligan and O'Malley nursing tank tops were recommended to me when I had my first child.  I had 2 tank tops and I think I wore these almost every day for the first few months of breastfeeding!  The tanks are stretchy and soft and so easy to use.  I would wear a tank underneath a button down shirt so that I could breastfeed easily and discreetly.  At night, I would wear the tank with pajama bottoms to make breastfeeding quick and easy.  My only complaint is that there is no padding in the tank, so I would just make sure to wear nursing pads to catch any leaking milk.  I am normally a medium size, but I ended up needing an extra large tank for the first few months of nursing when my breasts were very large.  These tanks were truly very comfortable, and the clasps can be quickly released to breastfeed.  The clasps also stayed in place and felt secure to me.  This is definitely a must-have for any nursing mother!

I wear one almost every day

These tanks have been a staple in my wardrobe for the past 5 months since my fourth child was born.  And before that, when I was nursing child #3 I wore these for the entire 18 months she was breastfed. I've tried several different brands of nursing tanks and these are my favorite by far!  The clasps are very easily done and undone using just one hand, which is a must when you're holding a baby.  The straps stay in place when nursing, which is a great feature.  Some nursing tanks have the strap release completely so that it falls off your shoulder when undone.  Another great feature is that when you are nursing there is still a bit of fabric coverage on the top, so you don't feel quite so "naked".  The fit is excellent for me.  I like that they are snug enough to be layered under clothes, but yet loose enough to wear alone if you choose.  They are good quality, I still wear the first one I got 3 1/2 years ago and it is in great shape.  I love that there are many different colors to choose from, so you can find one that will match pretty much any shirt you need to layer it with.

My absolute favorite nursing tank!

I cannot recommend these tanks highly enough!  They are reasonably priced and very versatile.  In the winter, I wear them under sweaters and in the summer, I wear them by themselves when I am at home!  I practically live in them and wear them almost every day during the first year of my babys' lives. They enable me to nurse in public without having to pull up my shirt and expose my back. (Nursing covers are great for the front, but don't help cover your back very well!)    I also like the fact that they are longer and help to cover my belly right after the baby is birn before all the baby bump disappears.  I find these tanks much more comfortable than any other nursing bra I've tried.  My only wish is that they would offer ones with a little bit of bra/padding for more coverage so that I would feel more comfortable wearing them by themselves in public.  But since I generally wear nursing pads as well, it is not a big deal that there is no paddin or underwire.  I love these so much that I have bought about 6 different colors of them and I have 2 each of the white and black tanks!  I often give them as baby gifts because they are truly one of the most used gifts I ever received!

Comfortable, Fitted and stylish

The Gilligan & O'Malley Nursing tops are fantastic.  They fit well, the spandex in the top holds up.  I am bellow my pre-pregnancy weight and still as comfortable in it as I was as I was hours after baby was born, in the hospital.  They clips are well made and show no sign of wear even though I have used the same two tops for the last six-months.  The price was great for the product.  They could double the selling price and I would still pay for it.  The cotton is soft and durable.  The colors have held well through many, many washes.  The legnth of the top is perfect.  It is not so long that it sticks out too far under my other shirts, but it is not so short that I feel awkward and uncovered while nursing.  I use my nursing camisoles about 90% of the time in lieu of a nursing bra and normal shirt.  I feel covered and comfortable while nursing in it.  They recently released more colors too!

An essential for every nursing mom

When you're about to have your first baby, it's almost impossible to guess what size nursing bra you'll need until the baby arrives (or even a couple weeks after that).  These tanks are a great early option.  They are stretchy, comfortable, and fit well under clothing.  My daughter is 15 months old, and I'm still sleeping in the same ones I bought early on.  Of course, they look faded and worn, but they are perfect for night time.  When you first buy them (before the baby spits up on them a million times), the even look good enough for a camisole under a sweater. Save yourself the heartache of buying expensive nursing bras only to have them be the wrong size - buy these!  Once everything and everyone settles, you can splurge.  (Though you may find you won't need to!) Just one piece of advice - they run very small!  Don't worry about the size on the tag.

Must have for nursing moms!

Worth every penny! For starters, they cover your postpartum belly (and back) when you need to nurse, so there's no breeze blowing into your shirt (my son was born in January, so that's important!). Also, they are stretchy but supportive, so the fit was perfect from right after birth when I needed the length for my belly to almost 5 months later. And all along it has been really comfortable in every stage. Also, they wash really well - the cotton is really strong and doesn't collect pills or lint after multiple washes. They are also perfect under a cardigan, a v-neck or in the summer on their own. I don't think that they are too low cut, unlike some of the reviews I've read. However, before I was pregnant I never had any cleavage, so maybe I'm just thrilled that I finally have some to show off now that I'm nursing! The only thing that made me hesitate with these was their cost, but they are so worth it.

Great for us moms with small breasts, but not the postbaby belly

I love your tanks, they are very similar to the tanks that I spend my non pregnant and nursing days in.  The shoulder clips are very inconspicous and I love that you dont have to wear a bra with it, its already built in!!!  The price is very good compared to other name brands, My only issue is that most nursing moms still have some of that post baby belly flab to work on and this shirt is cut a little too short.

Nurse in comfort with the Giligan and O'Malley Nursing Tank Top

4

I am a mom of three, and I have used the Giligan and O'Malley Nursing Tank Top for my two youngest children.  Oh how I wish that I had them with my first when I was new to nursing, especially nursing in public.  They are wonderful for allowing discreet, easy nursing access for even the smallest baby and most nervous nursing mom.  They are light enough to wear under most regular clothing, and the tank provides coverage for that after-baby belly.  My second child was born in January, in the middle of a very cold winter!  The nursing tank was great for layering under sweaters and cardigans and kept me nice and warm even in the coldest of weather.  My third was born in May, and I still wore the tanks under t-shirts and open button downs and I was very comfortable in the warmer weather.  They are light enough that they're not too hot.  The only problem is that they run a little small, so I would suggest buying a size up from what you normally wear unless you are comfortable with a very snug fit.

Gilligan & O'Malley Nursing Tank Tops are fantastic!

5

I first purchased the Gilligan & O'Malley nursing tank tops after my second child was born.  They offer plenty of support and are very flattering to wear.  I wear them as pajama tops at night; they are some much more comfortable than a nursing bra and so much easier for night time feedings.  I also purchased some for wear during the day.  I can wear them alone or under a sweater or a shirt.  They are great for use in warm weather during the summer time.  I love the long length of the tank tops.  They come down to the hips.  The lycra material helps hold in some of the post baby weight and gives you a somewhat slimmer look.  The tanks come in a variety of colors including black, brown, gray, light blue, pink, white, and ivory so it is very easy to incorporate them into any look.  The price of the GIlligan & O'Malley nursing tank tops is so much more affordable than the other brands and perform just as well.
