The venus razor is awsome, it makes my skin feel as if I have had some special skin softening and moisturising treatment. I never thought there would be a razor that could actually soften your skin as you use it. It really does make you feel like a godess. I don't know what they put in those strips but I have never enjoyed the feel of my legs after shaving even with the best womens shaving cream nothing has ever been this good. Gilette Venus is one of the best razors out there. It is affordable. The razors are always sharp. If you know how to use it correctly you will never end up with a cut or a knick.I have used other razors before when I was on vacation and had forgotten mine at home. They left me with cuts and knicks all over my legs. Gillete Venus is gentle enough to use on your bikini line. I never end up with razor burn from it. I have used the Gillette Venus razor for quite some time. I am pretty satisfied with the product. Gillette has an excellent reputation and is a leader in producing quality razors. I feel these specialty razors are more for attracting the female buyer using attractive colors and packaging. It certainly shaves legs cleanly and efficiently. The handle is comfortable to use. I feel they are overpriced. The cost is overstated and fortunately there are frequently coupons available and the product frequently goes on sale otherwise I would never purchase the Gillette Venus razor. I bought the Gillette Venus system with the handle and replaceable heads. They also give a handy display case for the shower, which sticks to the shower wall, no problem. It has a little hinged door on it; it holds five disposable heads inside, and the handle snaps into the outside, with or without a razor head.

I love the shave this razor gives -- very smooth, no irritation at all. The handle has great contours to make it easy to hold and manipulate around the leg without dropping it.
