Gillette Venus Razor For Women Review

Let's face it. We women have tried them all, especially if they're on sale.

For many years, I used Gillette Disposables, with good results, until they got just as pricey as every other disposable, so I figured I'd shop around. (this was quite some time ago, before women came into their own with razors. :) )

Out of all I've tried, this basic Gillette Venus (for me just the basic, least expensive of the crew) does the best job on my legs of any I have ever used. The razor head moves with the curves (and bony knees and ankles) so there are automatically fewer nicks. The shave actually lasts more than a day, which is an astonishing feat all on its own with me, and also, I've noticed it's possible to re-use the snap-on razor head quite many more times than with other brands.

I've noticed other reviewers think the handle of the Gillette Venus is a real bonus, and I have to agree it really is better than most.

Though the replacement heads have risen in price considerably over the past few years, I still think this particular razor adds up in savings over time.

It's a keeper!
