I am lucky, my dear Husband really does not care if my legs are smooth, stubbly or covered in hair. So I don't shave every day, though I probably need to. I have light brown skin and lighter brown hair, so I rationalize that 5 more min of sleep is far more valuable than having smooth legs, when the only other person to touch my legs does not care if they are smooth or not.

This razor makes my poor shaving habits bearable (and has increased the length of time I can get away with not shaving-yeah me!)

The Gillette Venus Original razor is above average than most typical razors in a few key major ways. First of all it leaves my skin very smooth. The moistorizing strip is definately a major pro and a reason to get the Gillette Venus Original razor. Different from typical razors the smooth skin is a plus. Love at first stroke! Thats how I would describel Gilletes Venus razor! I always hack myself up when using disposable razors, even some of the reusable name brand razors. I used to get razor burn also. Not with the Gillette Venus! Its erganomic handle makes is almost impossible for you to lose your grib, even when you're lathered up and slippery in the shower. The moisterizer built in on the blade makes it so you do not need shaving cream, although I use it sometimes anyway. I really like this gillette venus original razor. It does a really nice job and it gives you a nice a clean shave. I would recommend this razor to anyone looking for an excellant shave.

I am very fussy about which razor i buy. I dont really want to pay a high price for them but sometimes its worth the outcome. Although the blades for this razor are a bit pricey i beleive they are worth every penny.

the blades last alot longer than others. You can get two to three extra shaves out of each blade that you wouldnt get useing others.

I really like this razor. I'm busy and I don't have time to go over my legs several times. This razor is easy to hold, has a nice grip, and it really gives you a smooth close shave on the first time. Your legs will have a nice softness when your done. My husband likes to run his hands over my legs after I have used the Gillette Venus Original razor. Guarenteed every time! Since I am a dry skin sufferer and a women over forty, this is important to me.

I have used the Original Venus razor for quite a few years and I am extremely happy with it.  I tried the Venus Breeze and just hated the feel of it so I'm back to the Original.  It shaves clean, does not cause cuts, and the razors last for months at a time.
