I literally have tried almost all of the razors out there and I have to say that I always end up going back to the Gillette Venus Divine. As an example, just this past week, we went on vacation and I brought a disposable razor from another company with me because it was a little cheaper. The Venus Divine is not the disposable one but on vacation I didn't want to have to bring my handle, etc. To my frustration, it took me twice as long to shave my legs because I am use to the larger blades (of course the Venus Divine has three blades) and I cut myself so many times I was almost embarrassed...
read full review »The Venus Divine is fantastic; I'm always in a hurry, and it gets the job done fast. The replacement heads for the Venus Divine are a little spendy, but they last a long time, and are definately worth the expense. The moisture strips on the Venus Divine are a great plus, and they always keep the flow of the razor head smooth, as they were intended to. the three-blade head is pretty cool, too, and helps prevent me from cutting myself, even when I am in a hurry or press to hard. The rubberized textured grip on the body of the Venus Divine razor prevents me from dropping it, even when the shaving...
read full review »I started using Venus Divine razors by Gillete a few years ago by accident. I forgot my razor when we went for a weekend trip to visit my in-laws and I had packed a knee length skirt to wear to church. I had to shave my legs!! So I borrowed my mother-in-law's razor that was on the edge of the bathtub. I got the closest, smoothest shave I've ever had!! I couldn't believe it. I went out and bought a Venus razors and disposable head for myself and have loved it ever since. I have since switched to the Venus Divine disposable razor because they are the same price and easier. I buy the...
read full review »The Venus Divine razor is my favorite razor. The Venus Divine comes with disposable heads that you attach to the razor handle. The disposable heads each have 4 blades so you get a close shave. Each disposable head has moisture pads surrounding the four razor blades for smooth shaving. All the Venus razors are like this but the reason the Divine is my favorite is because its the cheapest. The inexpensive razor itself costs about eight dollars and the disposable heads cost about ten dollars for a four pack. Im usually in a hurry to get shaving over with and no matter how fast...
read full review »I am in love with the Venus line of Razors. I like them all but my favorite is the Venus Divine Razor. This razor has some moisture strips infused with botantical oils that gives you smooth skin as you run the razor over your skin. I like the feature, of the razor handle. It is so easy to hold and use, when you are shaving in the shower or bath. Some razors are hard to handle but this one is designed with a woman in mind and it makes it easy to use. I like the fact that it has a detachable head that you can change. Personally I think that the cartridges that you buy to refill the razor are a little...
read full review »The Gillette Venus Divine comes with three blades for a closer shave the first time around. If it's been a while since your last shave, no problem. The Gillette Venus Divine gets rid of all hair with the first shave, no matter what. I have gone a month without shaving and when I used this brand of razor I did not have to waste time in the shower shaving a second time. I get a close shave the first time, every time.
It also has two lather strips for a more gentle shave. This helps to prevent cuts and razor burn, especially in sensitive areas. In addition to the two lather...
read full review »I have purchased many different types of razors. From electric, to disposable, to the ones that you just replace the blade. But nothing has come close to the Venus Divine. I love the scent (the Venus Spa is a great scent too). The shave gel that is on the cartridges works wonderful. There is no need for me to use a seperate shaving gel or cream with this razor. As long as you keep the blade and your leg (or whatever you may be shaving) wet, the blade glides along very smoothly. I do not get nicks and cuts like I do with other razors, and it glides easily over knees and around ankles. I find that...
read full review »It shaves clean and smooth yes, and I don't even need to use a shave cream. However the blades don't last long, especially if using them for the bikini area and they are a little expensive. Somewhere around ten bucks for a pack of three, depending on where you go. That seems steep to me for razors. But the razor itself is great.
I started using this product back wheni t was the Gillete Venus, Now, it's been upgraded to the Divine and i couldn't agree more! Almost no nicks, smooth shave and a pivoting, disposable head with built in lotion make for an amazing shave.
I recommed purchasing the Venus Embrace which has 5 blades versus the 3 blade Venus Devine.
The blades do not seem to last as long and they are about the same price.
