Most HelpfulQuick View: I was sent this razor by the company and I like it. I do NOT like the cost of refill blades though. This is a good razor that has built in butters and oils so you don't need shaving cream and it shaves well. But the solid shaving cream part melts fast and the refills are dreadfully expensive....

Most HelpfulI was excited when I heard about this shaver. I thought it would save me time and effort, and being a Gillette Venus, I expected high quality. I have been using the Venus shavers for years now, and I do think they are the best shavers on the market, UNTIL THIS ONE! The Venus Breeze was pricey, but...
review »I had the regular Gillette Venus, which I loved, so when I saw the Venus Breeze which boasted the convenience of not using separate shave gel, I ran out to buy it.
It works quite well! Just as well as the Venus. The gel bars are a little slimy, but they work really well and you do not need to use shave gel. I got no nicks or cuts either. You can shave your legs in the shower stream, too. No repositioning the shower head or putting a foot on the corner of the tub to avoid washing shave gel off. I removed my razor from the shower after use so the gel bars wouldn't melt. That doesn't work. The gel...
review »After using a Schick razor and being frustrated with the results, I purchased this Venus Breeze razor. I absolutely love this razor! It is very convienent. I can use it every morning and it lasts three to four weeks before I need to change the blade. It has moisturizing strips above and below the blades. This really helps me out because I am a dry skin sufferer.
Replacing the head on the razor was a "breeze." It was very simple and only took a couple seconds. The price was also reasonable. When I purchased this razor it was on sale. Proctor & Gamble always has excellent coupons on this as well....
review »I found some Venus 2 in 1 razor replacement blades on sale and bought them, since I had the original Venus before and all the razors in the Venus line are interchangeable. I LOVE them. I have used other razors in the past that also had the solid shaving gel, but after the first use the blade would sink so far into the soap that it was impossible to actually shave with it. these, however, last for several shaves and glide smoothly over your wet skin. I have very sensitive skin and so I still use a shaving lotion with this the majority of the time, but even when I was out of the lotion and so just...
review »I love the Venus Breeze Razor. I thought it was going to be like the rest of the razors but it's not. It's better. It cuts very close and makes my legs feel very smooth. It forms to your curves. I have dry skin and I have a hard time finding a razor that doesn't make my skin look flakey. But the Venus Breeze works great and doesn't make my legs look bad. It is well worth the money you spend on it. I have already told my family about it. They went out and bought one and love it too. I think I will always use this razor.
Venus breeze is a horrible razor. It's sticky doesn't leave your skin smooth like razors are supposed to do. I only used it two weeks and I was constantly changing the razor blade and having to put on lotion because my skin was so dry. And one day I got such a razor burn I almost died putting my leg in water and the burn lasted for a week. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY IT'S NOT WORTH IT! For the best razor I would recommend is the Venus Embrace does everything the Venus breeze can't.
I did not like this shaver at all. And I bought a whole kit with the razor and several refills included, but I still bought another razor instead of finishing up the refills.
I don't feel like the razor gets a close enough shave and it leaves a gooey feeling rather than the feel or a moisturizing shave gel.
I really don't like the razor but I've never found a 2 in 1 razor with the shave gel that I do like so if you usually like this type of thing than maybe you would like it.
after trying many many different razors over the years I have finally found a razor I plan to keep using!
The Venus 2-in-1 actually lasts me for a bit before becoming dull, and while I think they are a bit pricey for cartridges .. I still spend less. I no longer have to buy shave cream .. which more often then not, dried out my skin.
Its also one less step in the shower, and with 3 little kids, shower time is in short supply. I have also noticed I have less under arm razor burn now too. I don't have to go over the same area repeatedly to get a super smooth shave, so shaving my legs takes less...
review »The Venus Embrace razor is the single most amazing razor I've ever owned. I like to think of it as the Gilette Fusion for girls. It's got 5 blades and the razor comes with 2 replacement blades and a shower caddy. The first time I used it I was amazed how close a shave I got. I happen to have very course hair that seems to grow back within half a day, but my skin felt super smooth and soft. The razors last a good long time. You could really make a box of 4 last. My boyfriend even uses it when he is out of blades on his Gilette Fusion! The handle has a soft rubber grip which makes...

Any other razors that I have tried in the past have caused cuts on my legs and underarms no matter how careful I was, especially my knees. But the Venus Breeze gives a nice smooth shave with no cuts. It navigates along the curves of your legs thanks to the pivoting head. I have been using the Venus razors for quite some time now - most recently the Breeze - and I have not been cut once. They do not cause razor burn or rashes. The Breeze has soft strips around the blades that glide across your leg and you can't even tell that you're shaving - until you're all done and you realize that...
review »I rarely buy the "newest" "best" razor out because they are always the most expensive. I had a coupon and the gillette venus breeze razor was on sale so I decided to take a chance and get it. Especially since I read the package and it had a great smelling scratch and sniff sample, and it also said I wouldn't have to get any shaving gel, which I hate using because it always seems to fall into the tub and hit my feet anyway. I started to use it in the shower and immediately noticed the first swipe over the strip you are shaving feels like you are dry shaving. After that, the shaving gel strips start...
