Full Review Shaving is a fact of life and there are several shaving foams and gels designed to help make the process more comfortable and efficient. One such product is **Gillette Series Moisturizing Shaving Gel**, a shaving aid that helps to soothe sensitive skin. **Shaving Gel Commentary:** Gillette Series Moisturizing Shaving Gel is a product I have been relying on for many years to make my shaving experience less irritating and it has lived up to most of my expectations. This product is made by Gillette, the best known name in shaving care, and it offers a quality experience for a relatively low price. I prefer gels over foams for many reasons and chief among them is the ability to eliminate the irritation often caused by shaving. Gels offer superior protection against this problem and Gillette Series does a good job in prepping the skin for shaving. You don't feel like your hair is getting pulled out. The razor glides across your face with ease. Gillette Series Moisturizing does make shaving easier. However, it isn't the best product I have used for shaving. One thing I don't like as much is the scent. It's like a weak form of aftershave and it doesn't smell as masculine or as appealing overall compared to other shaving gels. Also, this shaving gel is a little less smooth. It protects better than foam shaving creams but the gel itself is a little more slimy and, when spread on the skin, isn't as tight and it takes a little more to lubricate the same amount of space. **Bottom Line Viewpoint:** Overall, Gillette Series Moisturizing Shaving Gel is a good product that certainly helps to prepare the skin for shaving better than the average foam and results in a reasonably close, comfortable shave. I don't like it quite as much as others but it is still very good and it offers a good consumer value.

Gilette Moisturizing Shave Gel is a good, basic product that gets the job done. It is one of the less expensive shave gel products available on the market, and I find that it performs adequately and consistently enough that I repeatedly buy it when I need more shaving cream.  The can and dispenser are designed very well, making it easy to dispense the appropriate amount of gelt each time. The product itself comes out as a translucent gel which transforms into a creamy white foam when applied to wet skin. It is thick enough to not run down your skin, allowing you time to shave the area with the product still in place but it is not overly thick so as to be difficult to rinse off the razor after each swipe or clog the blades. I get a smooth and comfortable shave with it, and it does not leave my skin dry. The scent is light and pleasant. There are no bells and whistles with the product and it is not overly moisturizing but I still find it to be adequate enough for my needs.

Gillete shave gel leaves a smooth skin behind. It also leaves behind a very nice and fresh fragrance. I find this gel very refreshing and it gives a smooth finish without drying the skin. And my Wife's testimonial that she finds it very alluring is bigger than any review :)

I'm completely obsessed by looking my best. I'm not saying that I'm an extremely handsome fella, but I'm gonna get as close as I can. Thats why I try EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN when it comes to men's personal hygiene. And, that being said, I think my opinion could be valued by quite a few guys out there....**When you've tried everything:**The thing about shave gel is, every brand has a gimmick and, if you're like me, you are suckered in by those gimmicks and you try their product. When I first tried Gillette Gel, I absolutely LOVED it! But, I saw the Nivea gel....had to try it, then I saw Nutrogena....had to try it, etc., etc. The thing is, Gillett is less-expensive and much better in my opinion!**The bottome line:**Gillette absolutely ERASES razor burn. It comes in many, wonderful scents. The dispenser works well, everytime....which makes it easy to apply. And, it leaves your face feeling soft and smooth, with no need for aftershave lotion.So, with all these benefits, and considering the price, I can't see any reason to buy ANYTHING else again!!.....now if I could just settle on a deoderant......
