Gillette Venus Embrace Women's Razor

Gillette Venus Embrace Women's Razor

DEC

2009

With the moisture strips and 5 blades, the Venus Embrace glides easily over your skin for a flawlessly smooth shave. I try every razor that comes out on the market. This is the best that I have found! The only drawback to this razor is that the razor and blades are definitely on the expensive side. However, I think that the quality is well worth the price. Whenever I use any of the cheaper brands of razors, I find myself getting razor burn and also just experiencing general discomfort while shaving. This razor, in my opinion, comes as close as possible to "pain free" shaving, if that is at all...

Gillette Venus Embrace Razor

Gillette Venus Embrace Razor
troubled by acne, Willing to pay for quality

This razor is great! I especially like it when traveling because I do not have to pack shaving cream... this razor has it all. It conditions as it shaves, gently moisturizing while reducing the risk of nicks and cuts (ouch). It also has a fantastic handle that is easy to grip, reducing those annoying slips which is a common problem when shaving. The five blades shave extremely close to the skin (cutting closer than any other razor I have owned, but you can go a couple more days in between shaves with this feature). I do have two complaints: 1) it is difficult to store the razor in between uses...

I love my Venus razor!  Just the first one that came out, the plain Jane version.  I have never cut myself with this razor.  Ever.  Not even a nick.  I have bony shins and with any other razor I have to shave really slow and be careful not to cut myself.  Venus is the only razor I have ever owned that I can shave my shins as quickly as I want to and not have to worry about tearing my legs up.  I also have knobby knees.  As the same thing holds true.  I can whip right over them without a second thought and not cut myself a tiny little bit.  I think the guards around the razors must protect...

Gillette Venus Breeze

Gillette Venus Breeze
Willing to pay for quality

This razor is incredible. Great for a quick shave if you are in the shower...would not recommend using dry if your skin is even somewhat sensitive.   The moisture bars absolutely do not provide enough lubrication for dry shaving. I ended up with razor burn every time I have used it dry, even though my hair is very fine. The head of the razor is a bit bulky for shaving the bikini line and it seems that the moisture bars prevent a really close shave. Seems to work best for me on my legs, in the shower. The moisture bars smell wonderful, although the scent does not last for the life of the blade. ...

Gillette Gillette Good News Disposable Razors

Gillette Gillette Good News Disposable Razors

Good clean shave. no cuts

Hard to find

Great shave
Non-irritating
Relatively inexpensive

This is a great disposable razor and I personally have better results with this razor over the SensorExcel.
The best disposable razor

I like my M3 power better- closer shave without more irritation

If you're into the disposables, you should get this because it gives you a decent shave without much irritation
not very irritating, the pivot is kinda fun but unnecessary.

seems harsher than Gillette Sensor Excel.

If you cant find the Sensor Excel this one will do.
A two blade razor. I have tried pretty much every...

AFTER USING THE GILLETTE MACH 3 razor , my face feels cool and smooth. There is no irritations or razor burns.I would recommend this blade highly to men with sensitive , dry or oily skin. On a scale of 1 thru 10, it rates an 11 in my book. YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE SHAVING CREAM , WHICH I PREFER TO DO. JUST AS LONG AS YOU KEEP THE LUBRICATING STRIPS MOIST WITH WATER YOU ARE GUARANTEED A CLEAN SHAVE. YOU WILL HOLD YOUR HEAD UP HIGHER JUST BECAUSE YOU KNOW YOU ARE LOOKING GOOD,WITH A FRESH SHAVEN FACE. AND HAVING SUCH A CLOSE SHAVE YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHAVE EVERYDAY. THIS IN ITSELF WILL HELP PRESERVE THE...

Gillette Fusion 4-pc Mega Holiday Gift Pack

Gillette Fusion 4-pc Mega Holiday Gift Pack
budget-conscious, married, buying for others

NOV

2009

I've come to realize that men's shaving products, such as razors, are EXPENSIVE!  I think the amount that they charge for a razor is just outrageous, and I refuse to pay regular price for something that will be used and thrown away.  During the holiday season, most name brand razors are offered in a gift set that offers an amazing savings AND several full-sized grooming products that make great holiday gifts.  When the holidays approach, I begin looking for these razor gift sets for my husband, and stock up while the price is so good.

My husband really likes the Gillette Fusion razor because...
