I started buying the Gillette Mach 3 razor with disposable heads when I was in college and I have not looked back. There are some razors that absolutely shred your face when you have to shave everyday, and that does not make for a positive shaving experience. In fact, it's actually a drain on the finances because then you have to buy after shave lotions and all the skin treatment lotions to protect your skin from all the damage that's being done to your face. Not cool, guys, not cool at all.
I actually shave my whole head, cue ball bald, you know? And each Mach 3 disposable head lasts me a month...
read full review »The Gillette Mach III Refillable Razor is a classic. Some would even say that it's revolutionary! In my mind, it certainly is. I have been using the Mach 3 for close to a decade now and have never been able to find another razor blade that is anywhere near as wonderful as the Mach III.
I have tried many many other Gillette razors, as well as a host of other brands. Some other razors may even give me a slightly closer shave, but they tear apart my skin, lead to ingrown hairs, and generally make my face a mess.
The Mach III is without a doubt a product I will continue to use until the...
read full review »The Gillette Mach 3 razor is a great razor. The triple blades give an outstanding perforance even with a beard that is a few days old. Usually just one pass is needed to complete the shave. With other razors that are only 2 blades, they have a tendency to leave hair that has to be gone over in another pass. And since the triple blade is set up where you have access to the back of the blade, cleaning the blade head is much easier than with other razors. I believe that that this is what helps in making the one pass work. The whisker do not clog up in the razor and this allows for greater...
read full review »I have used the gillette mach 3 razor since it came out on the market. i have been very please with this product. It is easy to find the replacments @ the grocery store with little or no problems. the stores seem to keep good stock in the razor replacements. the razor produces a very clean easy shave that feels nice to the touch after. i do not nick myself often which i beleive is a sign of a great shave. my wife uses the razor as well to shave her body parts as well. she prefers this razor over disposables any day. she also beleives a shave free from nicks and cuts is a great sign of a good...
read full review »For years my husband has always complained that his razor didn't shave close enough, he can have a really rough beard if he doesn't shave all the time, (morning and night). I seen an advertisement for the MACH3 razor, so I decided to let him give it a try. We were really suprised how well it worked, after he shaves, his face feels so smoothe and soft, boy what a nice change. And it must shave a whole lot closer than his other razors because he doen't have to shave like he used to (now just once a day). I mean it just seems to last so much longer. Wow, what a differance, now I don't mind...
read full review »I just want to express my opion on the Gillette Mach 3 replaceable blade razor. I've been using this razor for years ( around 7) and I've now got 3 different ones ( all Mach) They shave real smooth and close. The blade stay sharp for a long time . It works a lot better then most women shavers I've tried,so I've stuck with the Mach 3 But I really think the replacement blades are way too expensive.
A perfect Razor, simple, comfortable, works great. The truth is that nobody needs a vibrating razor with 11 blades. This razor is perfect, I've only knicked myself with it once, and the blades last longer than others.
For someone with dry or sensitive skin the mach 3 is your worst enemy. Even with a gilette sensitive skin shaving cream this razor will still leave your skin torn and feeling like you have rug burn.
As a middle aged consumer, I am very conscious of product utility versus costs. Due to almost daily nicks from disposable blades and additional encouragement from siblings, I purchased a Mach 3. Being somewhat of a "squeeze water from dime" individual, I get the max use out of my purchases. I can honestly claim that for a relatively small cost increase over disposable blades the Gillette Mach 3 is superior as nicking is unheard of. I have a tough middle age facial growth and I get super close shaves from individual blades. Usage varies slightly but average 4 shaves per cartridge...
read full review »Of all the disposable razors I have tried Mach 3 is my favorite one. There is defiantly a difference between Mach 3 and other disposable razors. I know it costs a bit more than many disposables, but it is definitely worth paying a little more for. Plus there is usually some special or coupon you can use to get them a little cheaper.
I think Mach 3 gives a closer shave and cleaner shave than most other disposable razors. It doesn't pull the hair - it shaves it right off. I also have very little trouble with nicking myself with the Mach 3. And though I don't have extremely sensitive skin, I have...
read full review »I received my first Mach 3 razor by gillette on my 18th birthday and have not changed razors since. In that time I have used several disposable brands while on vacation and have found the quality to be much worse. Other brands tug on my facial hair and feel dull after one shave causing knicking and bleeding while shaving. The Mach 3 seems to stay sharp and not knick my face for a couple of weeks before I have to change razor blades. The new replacement blades for the mach 3 are really nice they have a little color indicated strip that lets you know when you should change the razor head. ...
read full review »I have tried many disposable razors, and aftera few days the blade dulls and the razor is worthless. Consequently, I ended up wasting too much money buying disposable razors. Finally I decided to invest in a refillable razor, and already I can tell a marked difference. Whereas before I had to use the razor several times over the same area in a concerted effort to try to get all the hair, and would still have to go back and forth with the razor, the Mach 3 is much easier. I simply use it once on each area and the hair is gone. This is by far the most powerful razor I have tried, and I...
read full review »The gillette mach 3 razor is by far the best razor out there. This razor is marketed for men, but, truthfully, I have tried about every disposable razor out there and the Men's gillette Mach 3 has by far been the best. The shave is closer and leaves your legs, under arms and bikini area smooth and silky. I have been using this [roduct for years, started when I had ran out of razors and used my boyfriends razor to get by until I got to the store. I was surprised what a better shave it was. They really should market this product for women. The Gillette Mach 3 lasts longer than other women's...
read full review »The gillette mach 3 is a good razor for me it works every time! It is resusable i can shave more that one time with the resuable blade. Mach 3 is not only for men is good for woman to. I had to purchase one for my girfriend and she loves the feeling of smooth skin. Mach 3 is thin and good to get to those hard to reach places. And some of the mach 3 have the special turbo that helps the hair to get out! Mach 3 is a bit expensive but its worth it! The razors are resusable depending on what type of hair you have! As for me i have really thick hair so i can resuse it about 4 times before the gel...
read full review »I have been using the Gillette Mach Three razor for a cuple of years now. I prefer this razor over any other. It gives a very close shave. I also like it because my husband and I share this razor and it lasts for a while. It is a good value for both men and women. The only negative comment that I can make about this razor is that the refills are quite expensive. But I guess you pay for what you get in this case. I like to buy the refills in bulk. They tend to be a little bit cheaper this way. I have very coarse hair, and this razor gets a close shave. I like it and I refuse...
