Most HelpfulOkay, I'm coming clean on these pages. About a year and a half ago when Gillette introduced this razor I wrote a scathing review of it elsewhere. Truth be told I was predisposed to savage this product.
I mean five blades? Come on, give me a break here. Wait! Six blades if you count the trimmer...

Most HelpfulOnce upon a time, Gillette introduced the first twin razor, a disposable blade system which combined two blades in one cartridge. The famous commercial showed us how the first blade would pull the hair away from the face, then the second blade would crop it close. Sounds good, right? But it also sounds...
read full review »Shaving is one of the many annoying routines that become part of most men's daily lives. I shave either six or seven times per week and I am always on the lookout for new shaving products. One I am now using for the first time is the Gillette Fusion, a hand- held refillable razor.
Razor Commentary:
I have used this razor for a few weeks now and the results have been satisfying. My favorite quality of this razor is the thinness of the blades. With most other razors, the blades are greater in depth and facial hair ends up getting stuck between the blades, requiring constant rinsing to try to keep...

I purchased the Gillette Fusion razor at a recent sale. Despite being a female, I chose this male razor because the price could not be beat. I was not disappointed. The razor has five blades and a soothing strip. The five blades cut even the most intense areas. I have been using the same razor for the last two months. For every other girl out there, no razor lasts that long! We are just too high maintenance. However, this one has stood up to the test. For only 6 dollars on sale, I still have a spare cartridge left to use when I finally throw this one away. I do not tend to use shave cream and...
read full review »Got this for the husband. He just loves it . Gives him a smooth save for that very very harsh beard he has. First time in a long time that he actually went 3 days without shaving and I could still snuggle up to his face. I think this is a must have for men with a ruff beard. Also purchased the shaving gel with it . Works great. I am however worried a little bit about how many batteries he will go through in the long run with this one. They are a little overpriced I do think.Hey though..sometimes you have to pay for what you want. A must have for men. Shh..I might even try it on my legs. If it works...

I am reviewing the Gillette Fusion Power Razor. I have read other reviews and I've seen the commercials and I must say, I do't get the hype. My face is just as tough a shave as the next guy and I have gotten a very close shave with 2 blades, then three blades, and then four blades. I tried the five bladed Gillette Fusion and I honestly got the exact shave as I did with the three and four bladed razors. I dare anyone to shave half their face with a Gillette five bladed Fusion and the other half with a three bladed Gillette or any other brand name razor and honestly say they can tell the...
read full review »The first time I shaved my legs it was with my father's single edge razor. One of those old things you screwed the head open by twisting the handle, and dropped in one of those blades you would later dispose of through a slot in the back of the medicine cabinet. So suffice it to say I have seen a lot of innovations in razors over the years, from wires over the blade to keep you from cutting yourself, to strips of moisturizer, to twin, triple, four blade, and five blade razors. The triple blade razors were great, and after that I thought, "ok more blades are just some gimmick to sell new razors",...
read full review »The Gillette Fusion razors are a product that I never saw myself buying for the men in my life. For disposable razors, or refillable razors, they are quite expensive. They retail anywhere from $8-12 and the refill blades cost around $9. I often have coupons for these giving me a discount, and they are often on sale, but still costly. However, my dad and DH have both said they are the best razors they have ever gotten. I gave some of these as gifts at Christmas, and they were very popular. My brother was so in awe of the ones I gave out that we had to go and buy him one before the store...
