The first time I shaved my legs it was with my father's single edge razor. One of those old things you screwed the head open by twisting the handle, and dropped in one of those blades you would later dispose of through a slot in the back of the medicine cabinet. So suffice it to say I have seen a lot of innovations in razors over the years, from wires over the blade to keep you from cutting yourself, to strips of moisturizer, to twin, triple, four blade, and five blade razors. The triple blade razors were great, and after that I thought, "ok more blades are just some gimmick to sell new razors", but I was wrong. The Gillette Fusion is by far the best razor yet. I get a nice close, smooth shave, have never cut myself, and the blades last a really long time. I'm a product of German genes. Which means that for me shaving is not just a matter of removing peach fuzz, and not just my legs, yet I only have to change the blade about twice a year. And that means blades for my Fusion cost me less than using those "cheap" disposable razors that would shred my hide. I have recommended the Fusion to everyone I know. Especially my ex-husband who has a beard it nearly takes a brush-hog to shave! lol
