I use this product roughly every 2 days for shaving. I love the smell, the can uses every last bit, it gives my legs a fresh feeling every time

Gillette's Fusion Hydragel Ultra Sensitive shaving cream is the ideal cream for my extremely sensitive skin that easily breakes out on even the slightest contact with regular to even sensitive tailored creams. The only shaving cream I use is this one because of its excellent feel, supreme quality in keeping my face free of any cuts, bleeding and providing an extremely smooth feel that makes me scan over my face several times in shock after shaving never realizing that a shaving cream can achieve this goal. I keep one in my bathroom, bring one when travelling, keep one in my gym locker & at relatives I visit frequently if I intend to stay for a few days. I will never buy another shaving cream & am very intrigued by this product, coupling with it's affordable price I will routinely stock up when I spot a stellar price & at 7 ounces it lasts me a very long time as I continue to learn to be cautious with the amt of cream I use as very little of this goes a long way.

I purchased Gillette Fusion Hydragel Ultra-Sensitive 7oz shaving system about two weeks ago as I found it on sale at my local Wal-greens. With the coupon I used I got an excellent price that I couldn't afford to miss. My husband shaves his head and face and my daughter generally uses foam on her legs for a quick shave. My husband used it first on his head and once he had completed the shave I felt his head and he got a really close shave with a very smooth cut. He has trouble with razor bumps from time to time and this time it wasn't a problem. My daughter then tried the Gillette Fusion Hydragel ultra-Sensitive on her legs. She often gets cuts from shaving but this timm she didn't. She also liked the smell of this product even though it is geared toward men. This is a product that helps increase the productivity of a razor shave. Less bumps and cuts. Both my husband and daughter were extremely happy with the shaving foam.

Since the day I first began to shave with the wierd foamy white substance that came out of a generic aerosol can, I never really had any complaints when it came to shaving creams and gels. My facial hair requires shaving maybe once a week and even then, it's a thin layer. So pretty much any cream or gel will do just fine for me. The Gillette Fusion Hydragel was the second gel I purchased because of it's affordability and bright colored packaging. I have been using the stuff ever since. It gets the job done and leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean after my shave. I do have a couple small nit picks to make about it though. One, the gel sometimes stays in its gel state for quite some time on cold nights and requires more rubbing to foam it up. The second is when rinsing the excess gel from the nozzle, I notice flecks of metal or parts of the label going down the drain. It's a pretty disgusting sight.

I bought this when I found it on sale and had just put it into our medicine cabinet, then my husband started developing horrible razor burn. He called the dermatologist and made an appointment and they suggested that in the meantime he try using a strong moisturizer and switching his shaving cream or gel. Since we already had this he gave it a try. It is wonderful! It goes on very smoothly, doesn't take much to create a lovely foamy/gelly coating, and is extremely hydrating. Within a few short days the razor burn had cleared. Within a couple of weeks he was able to stop using the moisturizer that the dermatologist had suggested! I'm not saying that this will be the case with all users, but for my husband's skin and facial hair type this has been the best shave cream/gel that we've found. And we have tried them ALL! I only give it four stars though because it does seem to "gum up" his razors more than his previous cream did. It's well worth the trade off because I would rather buy new razor cartridges more often than have him suffer with the uncomfortable razor burn, but I did want to clarify my reasoning on my rating.

i am not an avid user of shaving creams because i prefer to shave dry but i received a coupon to try the gillette fusion hydragel shaving cream for free so i said why not!i followed all the directions,wet your skin first then apply the shaving gel to your face!the first thing that i didn't like was that this shaving gel goes on really thick,so it doesn't take that much of it,depending on your facial hair thickness!now when i say this is a smooth shaving gel,it truly is worth it.i had to use my gillette fusion proglide razor along with the shaving gel,and the smooth shave is awesome.i never even felt the razor on my face it was such a smooth glide down my face.after i finished shaving and washed my face clean from the remaining gel,my face was so smooth and refreshed i was amazed.the phrase "smooth as a babies bottom" was the first thing that came to mind and i am happy to say that i am now hooked on shaving gel!

I am definitely a fan of this product.  There are a couple of reasons why I really wouldn't like a shaving gel.  The first reason is if it smells funny to me (I have a very sensitive nose for smells that are supposed to smell good--I can handle smells that we all expect to smell bad, but when something that is supposed to smell good (like a shaving gel) smells bad, that's a problem).  The second reason why I wouldn't like a shaving gel is if it leaves my skin dry.  The last reason why I wouldn't like a shaving gel is if it makes for an uncomfortable shave.  The HydraGel passes all three tests.  I'm not sure if these are lofty standards, or if lots of gels achieve them, but the HydraGel definitely does.  First, it has a very acceptable smell--which is a plus for me. Second, it makes for a very comfortable and smooth shave which is probably more important than the smell to most people (just not to me).  Third, my skin is never left dry.  Way to go.
