One of the downsides to the Wii console is that the remotes need to be battery powered and are not able to be used while connected to a power source. So if you have a limited number of remotes, then you can end up having the batteries in your remote die right in the middle of a game. But this dual charging station can help solve the problems. You can recharge two remotes at once, and they are able to recharge very quickly. We often play with just two of us, so if we are playing and the remotes die, then we can quickly recharge them while we stop for a brief snack and break. This charger allows us to recharge both remotes without waiting too long before being able to resume the game. The batteries that come with this charger hold a charge for quite a long time, and they also can be recharged a lot of times before they wear down. We use the Wii a few times a week, and we have used them for several months without signs of them dying faster than when we first got them.

It's not the best of the best, but it definitely saves money. My family plays the Wii for hours everyday. So, instead of constantly buying batteries, I got the Dual Wii Remote Charge Station. It really helps, gets the remotes charged overnight, and saves me money. Worth the money and gets the job done.

We went through tons of batteries before we purchased this charging station. While we had tried out re-chargeable batteries, it always seemed as if they didn't hold their charge very well, and so were rather pointless because we'd end up having to purchase more re-chargeable batteries anyway (which are more expensive than regular ones). This dock station allows us to continuously keep our remotes charging, and so we have not had the batteries run out once since we have bought it! I would say that it has more than payed for itself, and I have been very happy with the purchase. I like the fact that the battery packs in includes are kind of rubbery, and that it has an indicator light for when items are charged.
