Gibson Songwriter Deluxe — — The Songwriter Deluxe is a handsome instrument with the Dreadnought body style, with the squarish shoulders and wide waist typically characteristic of most Martin guitars, however the Gibson "D" Body sounds VERY different. Whereas the Martin runs to the bass side with less apparent treble response, to my ears the Songwriter Deluxe sounds just right; balanced, with a roaring bass tone and good solid treble registers as well. a classic rocker, music fan
Direct from Bozeman Montana comes one of Gibson's best (and lowest priced) acoustic guitars; that is low priced, for a Gibson. Don't walk into your local guitar shop with less than $2000 in your pocket. Granted, I've already posted a review on my Epiphone DR-500M that I LOVE...but, if you're out for that genuine "Made in America" guitar, check this one out. — This is an acoustic/electric with L.R.
