I found this tea kettle when I was shopping for a dishwasher safe tea kettle. The first time I used the kettle to make tea, I was surprised at the loud whistle. The whistle gets my attention every time. Even if I am in another room.
The tea kettle is easy to clean and has a nice shiny stainless steel finish. With 2.5 QT capacity it holds more water than I normally use. The kettle comes with a 25 year warranty.
