Most HelpfulGhost Town is a romantic comedy about reaching back from the dead to make things right among the living. It's not an unusual story and it was told perhaps most memorably The Sixth Sense. In fact, Ghost Town is quite a bit like The Sixth Sense, except that Ghost Town reaches for your funnybone where...
read full review »Okay, it wasn't that bad. It was actually kind of entertaining. But, I can often judge a movie by how I feel walking out of the theatre. My thoughts walking out were, "it was pretty good, but ho-hum". This is one of those movies that if anyone wants to see it, then by-all-means, go right ahead. But waiting for the dvd is probably what I'd recommend. I gave it 3 stars, because 4 stars was a little more than it deserved. 3 1/2 is more accurate.
Parts of the movie had me laughing out loud. The British actor, Ricky Gervais, was funny and did a very good job in the more tender scenes too. But, the movie...
read full review »After being in the hospital for a regular procedure, DDR. Bertram Pincus (Ricky Garvais) started having visions. Finding out he had died during the procedure only helped him and the ghost of Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear) realize what had happened. Now several ghosts wouldn't leave this cranky Dentist, with no people skills, alone. All they wanted was help from the only living person that could see them, all Dr. Pincus wanted was to be left alone. The plan to get rid of them all, suddenly turned into Frank helping Bertram, with his social skills, especially around Franks widow (Tea Leoni),...

Well Rotten tomotoes gave 86% it is great movie to watch no brain..
i think thats what one needed after hectic work...relaxation and fun
I like Ricky Garvais' comedy, but his main shtick relies on making everyone around him uncomfortable by saying things that reveal how uncomfortable he is, which can be funny because he keeps talking and therefore gets more and more uncomfortable, which makes the people around him more and more uncomfortable... including the audience, if you don't find that sort of thing funny.
Ricky plays a dentist who lives his life as agoraphobically as he possibly can. His trip home from work, to the building next door, has far too much human interaction for his liking and he does everything in his power to...
read full review »Ok...You know I really don't like when Hollywood bigs up these movies like they are going to be the best movies ever made and then when you watch the movie, it is a complete flock. I am so glad that I didn't spend my $8.00 on a movie ticket to go and see this film. The humor in this movie was so dry. Wait, what humor???? What were they thinking when they made this movie. It's one of those movies that should have went straight to DVD. No I take that back. This movie should have went straight to the vault and hidden from the world. I had to get up and leave to go and do housework.
The movie is about...
