There are few products in the world that feel like a godsend, but I have to say that this is definitely one of those products that feel like manna from heaven. Anyone who has difficulty standing for extended periods of time will likely agree. The Roll About Stool from Get Organized is an easy way to have a seat while staying on your feet. This product can be purchased at www.amazon.com or www.shopgetorganized.com
The Roll About is easily assembled in less than fifteen minutes. The stool has three sturdy metal tube legs with caster wheels that provide easy mobility. The seat is made of a hard molded padded vinyl reminiscent of a bicycle seat. There are five levels of adjustments to make the height of the stool most comfortable for you.
I was flipping through the Get Organized catalog when I came across a picture of this stool. I have difficulty standing for very long, so I no longer cook or bake in the kitchen as often as I would like. The Roll About Stool makes it easier to spend time at the countertop to prepare meals. Better than an ordinary stool, the caster rollers allow me to roll down the counter as needed, thereby reducing back strain and fatigue. The three-legged frame is sturdy enough to hold your weight when you feel your legs getting tired. And the wheels give you more freedom to move around, more easily. The only caution I have with this stool is that you're not going to want to spend a lot of time sitting on it. The seat is somewhat small and hard and can be uncomfortable if you sit on it too long.
If you have been spending less time in your kitchen, workroom, or craftroom because of weak legs, I would highly recommend this product. Any assistive device that helps you conserve energy so that you can continue your favorite hobbies gets an A-plus from me.
