I love these spoons for my 4 month old. I do wish they would sell different color packs for girls and boys. I especially don't pull out the pink spoon to feed my son. I love the softness and the size is ok for his age. Once he gets older and eating more I won't be able to use it.

Well I guess I can say a little more about these spoons than my title indicates :) But really, it's a spoon so it's had to say anything bad about it. **Gerber Soft Bite Infant Spoons** come in packs of 6 and that is pretty much all you will need to get through your child's pureed food for months. We already have to run the dishwasher every 2-3 days, so we always have plenty of spoons to go around. After that you'll probably want to buy bigger spoons as your child grows to eat bigger foods. Why buy an Infant Spoon? Why not just use a regular spoon? Well just look at your baby's mouth - it's much smaller then your mouth, isn't it? Babies can eat off a regular spoon, but it's much easier for them to eat off of a small spoon designed just for them. The small size of the spoon is easy for them to grab and a good way for the baby to start learning to feed herself. My baby loves to grab the spoon! But I still make sure to help her guide it into her mouth so the food doesn't go everywhere. Finally, the small spoon makes it easier to make sure I am giving her small portions. It would be easy to accidently give your baby too big of a bite using a bigger spoon. No worries with this small spoon as only a baby sized portion can fit on the end. These spoons are also made of a soft material, unlike regular adult spoons, so if the baby bites down on it or knocks herself with it, it doesn't hurt. The softness is also good since babies teeth at this age and tend to try to eat the spoon. Even with all the biting my daughter does, these spoons are holding up great and you would never even realize they were being abused as much as they are :) My baby is an expert eater now thanks to help from Gerber soft spoons. No she can't feed herself, but she opens her mouth wide and knows exactly what the spoon is for. She likes to play with it when she's done and she's happy as can be after a meal.

My family and 8 month old son loves the gerber soft bite infact spoons. I have bought and have been given several different types of baby spoons since my baby son was born but now that he is regularly eating baby food, the gerber soft bite infant spoons are our very favorite by far. They are easy to use, easy to clean and they are easy on their small mouths. They are easy to put food on them adn are gente on the baby's mouth while wiping off any excess food from aroudn their mouth. I put the spoons in teh dishwasher and they have held up wondefully after several dozens of washings. I keep a set in the baby bag, in the house, in the car and at the baby sitters house. Other all plastic spoons are hard to get all of the food off of teh spoon and into the babys mouth but that is not a problem for the Gerber Soft Bite INfact Spoons. They are not that bad expensive and can be easily found in many differnt stores as well.

I registered for, and received a pack of Gerber Soft Bite Infant Spoons at my twins' baby shower, and I'm glad I did! They come in a 5 pack, a variety of colors, and are easy to find in most stores. I love how gentle these are on baby's gums if he or she bites down, and the small end that goes into baby's mouth is just the right size. I found as soon as baby got a hang of opening mouth wide (after a few months on solids) the wider spoons were alot easier to use because they would get frustrated waiting for me to give them more since there is only so much you can put on the little spoons.  I wouldn't recommend letting an older child with teeth use them, it seems natural for them to just bite down because it is soft, and then you have a chewed up, sometimes metal exposed, spoon.They are easy to clean, hold up well (I used them with my third baby), and are a must have for any expecting mom!

The Gerber Soft Bite spoons are a great spoon to start feeding an infant with. They are nice and tiny to help make sure to much food isnt on the spoon. They are shallow so food doesn't get stuck in them like other spoons I have tired. We also liked that they metal spoons are coated so the little ones don't chew on the metal and their soft little gums are protected. These were one of our son's favorite things to chew on while he was teething.  The lighter spoons of these packages do tend to stain after a few uses in darker colored or highly pigmented foods like prunes, carrots, and sweet potatoes. That wasn't really a big deal to us though-they still worked just fine in our mind. We bought two packages of these and that was plenty of spoons for us. We ended up loosing some, one got eaten by the garbage disposal, but the rest are doing great on baby number two. These are a great spoon-everyone should try them. They also make a great little filler gift for showers or when a new baby comes.

gerber soft bite infant spoons are most definitly durable.  i actually still have two from my 7 yr old son when he was a baby!!!  thats how long they have lasted.  they have lasted through two babies and  are now on to the next!!!  honestly they are e!  :)xtremely reliable and durable.  the spoons are very soft and i have found that all my children actually enjoy chewing on them also.  they seem to help with teething.  and not to mention not one of my kids has ever bit down so hard that i would hurt them.  they come in all diffferent colors too!  they are among a couple other baby spoons that i have but i seem to always find myself coming back and using them the most.  i will just say that they are my first choice.  however gerber is an awesome brand in my opinion and this is a product that you are sure to expect from gerber.  who else?  i have recommended these to new mothers and other mothers too.  i will continue to do so too.  i have no complaints here when it comes to these feeding spoons.  they get an a plus from me!

I love, love, love the Gerber Soft Bite Spoons!  Can you tell I love these spoons?  These are my "go to" spoons when feeding my children.  I used these with my son when he was a baby, and six years later, they are still my favorite.  I love how the soft, rubbery spoon does not scrape against sensitive little gums.  I am always comforted knowing that I will not cause my daughter any pain by accidentally gouging her with a hard, metal spoon.  My daughter also enjoys chewing on these spoons when she is teething.  The fact that Gerber manufactures this product is also of comfort to me as I know that I can trust that they have done all they can to ensure the safety of products used for babies. The Soft Bite Spoons should be a necessity when it comes to gifting to expectant mothers. Throw this in with some of your other favorite Gerber products and I am sure you will make some momma very happy...and some baby too!

When expecting my first child, I purchased these Gerber Soft Bite Infant Spoons.  I remember as a child having them in the house for my younger brother and loving them so there was no question I was going to get them.  When my first started solids I reached for these spoons to start feeding cereal.  I found the shape and size to be perfect for his little mouth.  I loved how the soft rubber coated spoon wouldn't clink on his teeth - that sound drives me crazy!  The spoon also has just the right amount of depth for early eaters.  It is easy to clean, and easy to pack and take anywhere.  I also loved the colors, although I am odd and wouldn't use the 'boy' colors for my girls, and the 'girl' colors for my boys.  It would be nice if they sold gender specific pastel packs!  I would have to stock up!  These spoons are affordable enough to stock up on for the grandparents houses and to have a stash in the diaper bag and cars - that way you're never without a spoon!

These spoons are perfect for young babies and even toddlers. They are perfect and best used for the time when your baby has no teeth and sensitive gums from impending teeth. The are soft and gentle on your baby's mouth. The hold most solid food well because they are slightly grippy. The metal handle and etched wording make it easy for parents to hold on to their end.  Actually, I even like to eat from them sometimes-when I want to take small bites at a time. One downside is that you need to wash or at least rinse them very well right away or they will stain-especially with berries or tomato based foods. But that is my only caution. My daughter is older now and uses other spoons. When watching a 6 month old recently, I had to feed her baby food and used one of my toddler's spoon. As soon as I stuck the wider, metal tipped spoon her mouth, she looked displeased and began to cry. I immediately dug out my baby bin and found my Gerber spoons and used one and that meal time went much better. Now, I've been using them againwhen my toddler eats soft foods like yogurt or applesauce from tiney cups and she has a full set of teeth. I love that they are so small, they fit into tight spots.

I got the Gerber Soft Bite infant spoons from my baby shower.   They have worked out really well and my daughter really likes them.  They are really are soft and just right for my babies mouth.  Also the spoon isn't to big so you don't get to much food on the spoon when you are feeding the baby.  I also bought some additional spoons because I wanted more and they are really affordable.  I recommend getting these spoons when you baby starts eating.  They are safe and easy to maneuver.  My daughter who is  a little older likes to feed the baby and I know with these spoons she won't giving her to much and the soft tip makes me feel better about it too.  When my baby bites the spoon I know it won't hurt her or her new teeth.  I also got some plane plastic spoons and I didn't like them as much as I like the Soft Bite.  So if you are in the market for baby spoons then I highly recommend that you look at these spoons for the price and the safety.
