I used Gerber Comfort Hold bottles for my oldest daughter who is now 5 and loved them. However since the surface of BPA gerber no longer makes those. I decided I would use the Gerber Nuk because of the rave reviews and positive experience with Gerber products since the birth of my first daughter. I breastfeed and supplemented with formula. I even took one of the NUK bottles to the hospital with me when my second daughter was born. I tried for almost a week and she would suck forever (30 minutes or more) and get an ounce. I switched to the gerber essential in desperation one night and she sucked down 4 ounces in 5 minutes. I have continued to try the NUK for the last 3 months and still nothing. So I had a cabinet full of bottles I received as gifts that I had already opened and sterilized that I couldn't use. I called Gerber asking if there was another bottle nipple for the nuk bottles that I could purchase, their answer was no. However, they are going to send me a pre-paid postage label...
...

Gerber's Nuk Baby Bottles are great! My son has used them for a long time. We tried so many but he would just choke on the other ones. Playtex were the worse! These seemed to work great for him. My husband and I have both had dental work so we want to do everything we can to help him in the long run. The orthodontic nipples are good. When I first started giving them to him I was unsure how the bottle went but then figured it out. The directions weren't very helpful either. We wash our sons bottles in the dish washer and the on;y problem with that is that a few of them got ruined. They are pretty sturdy other than that though. We also went out and bout the pacifier's too. They are great! He won't take any other binky. He only wants those. I guess it is because they are like his bottles. I would recommend these to everyone! They are very affordable and convenient. Easy to store and to clean!
...

In the summer of 2008, I was nineteen and full of life and also liked to have fun. Well in a regular trip to the health department for birth control, me and my boyfriend found out we were pregnant. I had no idea what to do or how to care for this wonderful little man when he got here. Well I researched all kinds of baby products and talked to other moms. All told me to try the Gerber Nuk bottles when I decided to wean him off my breast. At first I thought he would scream and fuss over not being able to nurse anymore but because this bottle has the unique shape of the nipple and the same flow he honestly beieved it was still mommys' nipple. He actually had less burping problems and gas issues when I did wean him to the Nuk bottles. This product is a great item for first time moms who are afraid of what will happen when you do wean your little one. They do require that you spend a little money though but it is completely worth every penny. I paid about 15 dollars for three 8 oz bottles and...
...

Ok i tried this bottle since i got a 3 dollar off coupon on the mail.

I exclusively breastfeed so I just wanted to get a few bottles for those times that i will not be around my baby.

At first they were good, but the next times that we tried to give her that bottle. My baby will gag and choke on the milk . The milk comes waaaayyy to fast for her comfort and i have the slowest flow nipple.

They are good nice and sturdy but I will not personally buy them for me.

With the coupon you just have to pay like 2 dollars for them, so price wise they are not that bad.

I like the feature of how wide is the nipple since according to them it promotes breastfeeding.

You can sign up for gerber and each month they will send you a coupon for them

My vederict on this will be that they might work better for an older baby, but i will save the bottle that i have. And bring it up in a few months hopefully the money that i spent will not be wasted money.

I used these bottles with my son. I was nursing him when he started to daycare and unsure of what bottle to use. We tried several different types and brands of bottles and nipples and he rejected all that we tried. I then called my son's pediatrician and he asked what type of pacifier we were using with my son. I told him the Nuk Pacifiers. He told me that Gerber had come out with a bottle with a similar shaped nipple and to try that bottle. I then went to our local Wal-mart and purchased a 3 pack of the small bottles. We put milk in it that I had pumped. My son was resistant at first, but then went to eating from this bottle. I like that it was BPA free, that the nipples were shaped like the pacifier nipple, and that they had cute designs on the side. Now I've noticed that they've come out with a learner cup that uses the smaller bottles inside it to transition to a sippy cup. I think Gerber has done a great job with this product line and hope to use it again with...
...

When my boys were infants I breastfed but still needed bottles so that my husband could help feed, or others could feed expressed breast milk when I needed to go somewhere. We decided to try the NUK bottles by Gerber and the boys instantly took to them and had no problems whatsoever switching from these NUK's to breast and back and forth. They are more affordable than other brands and the larger nipple on them imitates a real nipple better than any other brand we tried. While using them we never had leaks and the 5 oz were such a great size, nice and fat and easy to hold on to. The fact that they are BPA free and plastic (we don't use glass bottle for fear of breakage) is just another plus. With this baby we won't be using any other brand of bottle besides the Gerber NUK. This product deserves five plus stars because of it's durability, reliability and affordablity. This is definatley the only bottle I reccommend to friends.
...

I received a coupon in the mail from the Gerber Company that entitled me to three dollars off of a Gerber Nuk Bottle. I had seen the pacifiers and tried them and these bottles had a nipple with a similar shape to the pacifiers. The bottles are specially designed to lessen gassiness so I wanted to give one a try. I went to Target where I purchased my first Nuk Bottle and brought it home and tried it right away. The baby seemed to like the nipple and was comfortable with it. She seemed less gassy when I used this bottle. I like the fact that it has an air vent on the nipple to eliminate the air going into baby's belly. I also like the nice wide mouth of the bottle that makes it easier to pour the powdered formula into without making a mess. I would recommend these bottles to all moms and especially if your baby suffers from alot of gas because they really do seem to lessen gassiness. I love these bottles!
...

I honestly didn't care how much I had to spend to find a bottle that my breastfed baby would take efficiently. I have tried 4 other types of the popular and expensive bottles and he would take 50 min or more to eat 4 ounces. I found the Gerber Nuk 5 oz bottles in Target and decided to give it a shot since it is the same shape as his pacifiers. Once I switched to the Nuk bottle, he now takes it in 15-20 min. It is such a relief because he is going to daycare in a few weeks and he will be eating my breastmilk from a bottle and it is too much to expect the daycare to feed him for 50 min out of every 2-3 hours! And to my pleasant surprise, these bottles are less expensive than any of the others I have tried!
...
