I researched lots of baby bottles before choosing one before my son was born. I had decided to get Nuk pacifiers, so I decided to get the Nuk bottles, since the nipples were shaped the same as the pacifier. Well it turns out my son won't take a pacifier at all, so that really didn't matter. But I have had no problem using the Nuk bottles with him. Well, one problem, I bought the 10 ounce bottles and didn't realize those come with a medium flow nipple, and they were too fast for my son starting out. I went and bought slow flow nipples though and those worked just fine for him, and later switched him to the medium flow that came with the bottles. I like the blue and green designs on the bottles, though I don't think I saw any girly colored bottles, so that might discourage moms who have a girl. The bottles are easy to clean. I had read reviews about other kinds of bottles with tons of parts and hard to clean, so I went for the simplest bottle I could find. There are only 4 parts to these bottles, the bottle itself, the nipple, the ring that holds the nipple on, and the cap. At first I thought the nipples were hard to get clean, because they are not like some other brands that you can turn inside out. In the end I got a bottle brush made for baby bottles that had a little nipple brush which works great. The one thing I don't like is the cap has holes in it, and the nipple leaks if you turn the bottle upside down, so when I put it in the diaper bag I have to make sure it is situated where it won't fall over.
