Gerber Nuk Baby Bottles (5, 8, 10 oz sizes) Review Summary

Identical in shape to the Gerber Nuk Pacifier, Gerber Nuk Baby Bottles offer an alternative to the typical and standard traditional baby bottle nipple. Made with a contoured nipple, the Gerber Nuk Baby Bottles are raved about by pro-breastfeeding moms as the nipple is designed to be more natural. Most reviewers state that their baby “prefers this nipple to others.” With special airflow vents, the Nuk Baby Bottle lets very few air bubbles pass from the bottle to baby. These same vents are also responsible for making a Gerber Nuk Bottle leak when it is tipped on its side. Mommy2kaely states that the Nuk Bottle is “the best bottle we found, the one we will stick with". Want to compare the Gerber Nuk Bottle to other baby bottles? As a first-time parent, I went through several different brands of bottles when it came time for my daughter to go to a medium-flow nipple.  The ones we were using were just too slow and/or kept clogging up.  I had a coupon for the Gerber Nuk bottle and decided to try one...and went back and got another...

After being tired of washing all the little parts of Dr. Brown bottles and frustrated with leaky Ventaire bottles, Nuk made its way to our home for our 4 month old baby.  We were excited to have a simple bottle- nipple, nipple ring and bottle.  Our baby uses Nuk pacifiers so we figured it would be...

We are using Nuk pacifiers and really like them, so when had to supplement I assumed that the bottles would be just as good, but was wrong. My baby got choked a few times because the medium flow nipple turns to a fast one when you lift the bottle to high. You have to pull the bottle out every few minutes because the nipple deflates and no milk comes out. We prefer to use the Playtex drop-ins that have cut down on choking and spit-up.

I have 3 young kids my youngest being 11 months and I love gerber bottles because they are easy to use and they are the only bottles that my children have ever like to eat from. I have tried to use other bottles before in the past and none of my kids would take anything but gerber. The Nuk bottles try to shape the bottle nipples to feel more real and natural. The 8 oz bottle is perfect for older babies because it offers more for the child to drink and gerber brand is nice because they have interchangeable nipples, so as your child grows the nipple is made to fit there age.  They come in multiple...

I recently discovered Nuk Bottles and I love them. I purchased these bottles by mistake, but what a great mistake it turned out to be. My 2 month old baby loves these bottles and now they are the only one she will drink out of. Although can cost a little more than some bottles they are very much worth the price in my opinion and with the 3.00 coupons I recently got in the mail it made them very reasonable. They are supposed to decrease colic and gas and I truly believe that they do, my daughter had a lot more gas beofre I accidently bought these and started using them. The only thing that I wish...

I stumbled upon this bottle when my child would not accept the bottles used on my previous child.  With also having difficulty giving the child a pacifier, I tried the Gerber Nuk bottle as it has a different shapped nipple than most other nipples.  She accepted the bottle the first time and has never looked back.  Easy to switch between breastfeeding and bottle, with no nipple confusion.

I researched lots of baby bottles before choosing one before my son was born.  I had decided to get Nuk pacifiers, so I decided to get the Nuk bottles, since the nipples were shaped the same as the pacifier.  Well it turns out my son won't take a pacifier at all, so that really didn't matter.  But I have had no problem using the Nuk bottles with him.  Well, one problem, I bought the 10 ounce bottles and didn't realize those come with a medium flow nipple, and they were too fast for my son starting out.  I went and bought slow flow nipples though and those worked just fine for him, and later...

I tried many bottles with both my children... the main problem I met was always switching between bottles and breastfeeding.  They always had problems latching on because they kept getting confused  between the different shaped nipples.  That is why I love this bottle, the nipple is angle shaped like the breast so they hardly were able to tell the difference.  My baby wasn't taking much formula, but now I supplement it whenever I need and he pleasently takes it with no fuss!!!

The bottle also has this air system to reduce colic which worked really great because my baby was always colicy...

If you are a working or busy breast feeding mom then the Gerber Nuk Orthodontic bottles are great for you to use.  They support breast feeding and from experience it really is easier for your baby to go from the breast to the bottle and then back to the breast again.  The shape of the bottle is comfortable to hold and the nipple has the air flow system so that way your baby can keep eating and does not need to be burped as often.  Since your baby does not get as much air during their feedings then they are less fussy because of gas later.  The bottles are inexpensive compared to the other...

The gerber nuk baby bottle is a good bottle it helps keep some of the air pockets off the stomach and cuts down on the spit up.  Gerber Nuk Baby Bottles are a little expensive but it is worth it.  Most stores carry them but the price varies from store to store but I would recommend it to my friends to use on their baby.  The Gerber Nuk Baby Bottle is real good for babies who are ready to have baby cereal mixed in with their formula, but it depends on the kind of baby cereal you put in it for me it worked really good with the rice cereal for babies it went through the nipple just...

The Gerber Nuk is a great bottle. I breastfed our daughter for the first 4 weeks. Then I had to go back to work. I decided to try the Gerber Nuk bottles because they support breastfeeding. The nipples are designed so that babies use their tongue the same way as when they breastfeed. Our daughter also suffered from alot of gas. The bottles worked great! She took to them right away. They made it easy for her to use. She never had a problem with nipple confusion while I was weaning her off breastfeeding. The nipples greatly reduced her gassiness. The Gerber Nuk nipples come in slow flow, medium flow,...

I love the Gerber NUK bottle, and so does my baby!

I know that this bottle is safe and works very well and that is why I feed my baby from them.

The nipple is supposed to be shaped similar to a breast feeding mom's nipple when nursing, so that is obviously very good.  The shape is also very good for heir oral development, and is recommended my doctors and dentist I've read.

I like that you can but the bottle in two differnt sizes and multiple colors.  I used the smaller size bottle when my son was a newborn and now that he is a little bit older and is drinking much more, I use the bigger bottle....

My son was the pickiest baby in the world when it came to bottles.  He would refuse to drink one, he would refuse a cup, he would refuse a cup with a straw.  The kid would not drink anything!  We were using Nuk pacifiers for him, which he is also picky about. He found one that he liked and would not use any others.  So we finally tried to use a Nuk bottle for him.  He drank it fine, drank whole 8 ounce bottles at a time and never had another problem.  He would not drink out of any other kind after we found that one, but I was thrilled!  I love the shape of them, they have three different...

Hi. I just bought these Nuk Baby Bottles for my little nephew the other night at Walmart.  I have been looking for a bottle that he feels the most comfortable eating from and that would not let the milk spill out the side of his mouth.  This bottle also helps a lot with keeping the air from his tummy and helps him to burp more because of the fact that the milk doesn't come out as fast.  The nipple does a really good job of imitating breast feeding and my nephew just loved eating from it.  The hole on the nipple is up against his tongue and that works wonders at keeping the milk in his mouth....
